The purpose of this column is to highlight some players with upside and well-suited for tournaments. While the majority of the hitter picks will likely have power upside, that's not necessarily the case for all the listed options. Other contextual factors such as batting order, ballpark, opposing pitcher, price, speed, etc also come into play, and you'll see these items sprinkled into the write-ups below. Along with that, we'll be gauging the ownership levels, giving you some plausible pivots from the popular choices in a given game slate.

McCullers will likely be the highest owned pitcher today along with Michael Pineda. I will not be lying if I say I have had a rough Sunday for what feels like the last few months. Because of this I am more than willing to spend up for a good pitcher who also happens to be the highest projected point total using our DFC Projections of 37.63 FanDuel points.

McCullers boasts a whopping 34.5% K rate, and like many young strikeout pitchers is walk rate of 10% is high, but he makes up for it by minimizing damage with a 60% groundball rate. He has been very good and we recently saw pitchers like Jose Berrios and Ervin Santana completely befuddle these Baltimore bats this week. I am rostering him today heavily, chalk or not.

Aside from one game in his last 5 Betts has put up 9 DraftKings points or more . Today he is likely leading off against Christian Bergman who only lasted four innings and gave up 10 runs in his last start. This game has Boston putting up nearly 6 runs, and Betts will certainly be the table setter for many of these runs.

Betts has been on a power outage as of late, so perhaps facing Bergman today can get Betts power stroke back. Plenty of top tier outfield plays today, but I am liking Betts and his .396 wOBA most today for GPP's.

Cobb certainly hasn't been pitching awful, but the Twins have been playing some very good baseball this season, and Dozier has been hitting well this week. With two homers over his last four games Dozier may be on one of his torrid power streaks he can go on at any moment. Cobb pitched 7.1 in his last start, but his mistakes were long-shots, and Dozier and the Twins are certainly capable of doing some damage with power this season. Dozier is pricey, but he has only provided daily owners with a goose egg once in his last 10 games. He can steal bases, hit for power, get walks and hit for average and as his .354 wOBA shows he has been hitting righties at a good clip this season.

Moustakas hopefully isn't done showing off his power stroke yet since he has hit 3 bombs over his last four games. The odds are certainly in his favor with Josh Tomlin on the mound today in a lefty vs righty matchup. Tomlin only has a 7.1% swinging strike rate, along with allowing 1.66 Home Runs per 9 to lefties like Moustakas. I really like his odds to do some damage today, as well as the other Royals. Only Jordan Zimmerman and Christian Bergman have given up more homers per 9 than Tomlin.

Herrera is struggling mightily this month. REALLY struggling, so this about as risky and deep of a dive as one can take in DFS today. He is however facing Scott Feldman who has been pitching either like a bonafide starter, or giving up runs a plenty as is typically expected of him. His wOBA and ISO are encouraging enough for me to plug Herrera in and hope we get one of the 7 or more DraftKings point performances he has sprinkled in this month. There are plenty of 0's this month as well. This is risky as all get out, but it is GPP right? Facing Feldman gives me plenty of hope.

Good Luck everyone!
