The purpose of this column is to highlight some players with upside and well-suited for tournaments. While the majority of the hitter picks will likely have power upside, that's not necessarily the case for all the listed options. Other contextual factors such as batting order, ballpark, opposing pitcher, price, speed, etc also come into play, and you'll see these items sprinkled into the write-ups below. Along with that, we'll be gauging the ownership levels, giving you some plausible pivots from the popular choices in a given game slate.

Zack Greinke is a pitcher I've loved rostering all year. He hasn't been as good as of late, but the options aren't that good on this slate, so I'm going to pitch the one guy I trust. Greinke has been great against the Rockies all year, and has fared well at home this season, so I'm targeting him tonight in my lineups. Greinke is in play in cash and GPP's for me tonight.

If there's one top-priced bat I want tonight, it's Bryce Harper. I've made some lineups tonight, and with the value I'm getting with the Padres tonight, I'm finding myself with a lot of Harper tonight. Wacha has had troubles against lefties this year, and gets a couple tough ones with Harper and Murphy tonight. I like both for GPPs, but really like Harper tonight. He's in play in all formats tonight.

I do realize that this is a terrible park for hitting, but that didn't stop them last night. I'm hoping Seager's HR last night finally put him back on track. Nolasco had a good game last time out, but I don't see that success repeating here. I think this is another good spot for the Mariners to go off, and I really like Seager tonight at this price point (especially on FanDuel).

I like Jean Segura, for all of the same reasons I like Kyle Seager, and then some. Nolasco's reverse-splits tendencies should play right into Segura's liking of hitting right-handers. Segura always seems to go overlooked, and I don't know why. He has so much upside with his speed, and even has some pop. I think Segura is a very contrarian way to go tonight.

Usually I wouldn't go crazy targeting Rich Hill, but I think this is a spot where we can attack him. Manuel Margot is great against lefties, and this is a very sneaky spot for this Padres offense as a whole. I love the Padres stack here, and Margot gives us power and speed upside at very low ownership, given the ballpark and pitching match up (people actually like Rich Hill for some reason). Love Margot in GPP's tonight.
