Each day of the MLB season will bring us some major price differences among starting pitchers on all sites. These price discrepancies and the site's roster differences can alter the way we use pitchers on each site, as well as how the field of opponents will use them. Listed below are five of today's top pitchers, each with their salary listed as well as the cafe value that takes into account both the total salary cap on the site and points-per-dollar. We've also provided some betting info for you reference. The higher the cafe value, the better the points-per-dollar play is.

Max Scherzer

This slate has 12 pitchers with double-digit SwStr%, and 18 over 9%. After a dreadful week of pitching slates, we have a loaded up slate of pitching options. Alex Wood and Chris Sale are two other options playable in all formats. Max Scherzer heads back to Arizona, a team that drafted him in 2008. The Diamondbacks are top five in wOBA against right-handed pitching, and at home. They do have a 22.4% strikeout rate, which gives plenty of reason to believe Scherzer can reach double-digit strikeouts again. He has already done it 12 times this season. Sale and Scherzer are neck and neck in terms of best numbers on the slate. Sale has a 16.3% swinging strike rate, while Scherzer's sits at 16.2%. They both have a strikeout rate over 35%. The next closest is Wood, with 30.2%. The three also rank top three in SIERA, all sitting under three. All three are tremendous options in all formats, but Scherzer is the arm I am relying on the most.
