Each day of the MLB season will bring us some major price differences among starting pitchers on all sites. These price discrepancies and the site's roster differences can alter the way we use pitchers on each site, as well as how the field of opponents will use them. Listed below are five of today's top pitchers, each with their salary listed as well as the cafe value that takes into account both the total salary cap on the site and points-per-dollar. We've also provided some betting info for you reference. The higher the cafe value, the better the points-per-dollar play is.

Jon Lester

On a short slate of games, Lester stands out as the top option when we factor in price, matchup, and recent form. He is coming off his best start of the season, striking out 10 Cardinals without a walk over eight innings of two-run ball, and has now posted a 16/1 K/BB and allowed just three earned runs over his last two starts. Tonight he draws a White Sox team that is missing Todd Frazier (Yankees), and has been terrible of late (4 HR, .113 ISO, .283 wOBA, 74 wRC+ last seven days). Lester is also a monster -240 favorite, and is the second-most expensive on FanDuel tonight. Lester isn't my favorite pitcher to roster, but he looks like the cream of the crop tonight with Chris Archer pitching at Yankee Stadium.
