Each day of the MLB season will bring us some major price differences among starting pitchers on all sites. These price discrepancies and the site's roster differences can alter the way we use pitchers on each site, as well as how the field of opponents will use them. Listed below are five of today's top pitchers, each with their salary listed as well as the cafe value that takes into account both the total salary cap on the site and points-per-dollar. We've also provided some betting info for you reference. The higher the cafe value, the better the points-per-dollar play is.

Chris Sale

After a stretch of not reaching double digit strikeouts in four starts, Chris Sale has done it in three of his last four games. He has 24 strikeouts in 14 innings against Tampa Bay this season, which have contributed to that 26.5% strikeout rate they have against southpaws this season. They also rank 20th in wOBA and 17th in ISO. You probably could guess this, but Sale leads the slate in K% (35.5%) and SwStr% (16%). Unlike a lot of high strikeout arms this season, Sale isn't allowing a ton of hard-contact (28.6%). He is an expensive option on today's slate, and while we have a lot of other high strikeout arms going, hard to fade him completely. You can split your exposure elsewhere, but have some shares of Sale, he very well could repeat what he did in his prior two starts against Tampa Bay. On DraftKings, the tough part is choosing an SP2 that allows you to fit in some bats. It is a top-heavy slate of pitching.
