Each day of the MLB season will bring us some major price differences among starting pitchers on all sites. These price discrepancies and the site's roster differences can alter the way we use pitchers on each site, as well as how the field of opponents will use them. Listed below are five of today's top pitchers, each with their salary listed as well as the cafe value that takes into account both the total salary cap on the site and points-per-dollar. We've also provided some betting info for you reference. The higher the cafe value, the better the points-per-dollar play is.

Max Scherzer

As he usually does, Scherzer will dominate ownership on this slate, and for good reason. He owns a ridiculous 39.4% K rate over the last 30 days, including a 63/8 K/BB, while allowing a TOTAL of 16 hits over 43.1 IP. Tonight he draws a matchup against a Braves team that owns just a .311 wOBA and 89 wRC+ against RHP this season. They have struck out in just 19.6% of their PA against RHP in 2017, and while Scherzer hasn't posted his usual type of numbers against them this season, a 13/6 K/BB over 12 innings of work with just six hits and three ER isn't too bad either. His price is incredibly high, and with a Coors game on the slate, we can expect that his ownership may take a little dip as DFSers look to get themselves some exposure to that game. Scherzer has been nearly un-hittable of late, and an all-out fade may just be a big mistake here. He will carry a ton of ownership, especially in cash games.
