Each day of the MLB season will bring us some major price differences among starting pitchers on all sites. These price discrepancies and the site's roster differences can alter the way we use pitchers on each site, as well as how the field of opponents will use them. Listed below are five of today's top pitchers, each with their salary listed as well as the cafe value that takes into account both the total salary cap on the site and points-per-dollar. We've also provided some betting info for you reference. The higher the cafe value, the better the points-per-dollar play is.

Danny Salazar

Danny Salazar continues to shine in the strikeout department, tallying eight against Tampa Bay last time out. Seven walks over the last two outings have echoed the walk concerns that Salazar has always had, so that once again ties into the risk with him. However, since coming back from the DL, he has 36 strikeouts over his last four outings, allowing no more than four earned runs in a start. The Twins are a team that can pack a punch every now and then, but more sit as a league average offense with a fairly high strikeout rate against right-handed pitching (22%). Minnesota has actually has some decent numbers against Salazar, hitting over .300 with a 24.6% strikeout rate. Salazar has had an up and down career so far, so getting him while he has it all figured out is where we are at now. The price tag has come up quite a bit, and on a slate that features Coors. Depending on your priority, Salazar is either an overpriced arm to stay away from, or a chance to differ your lineup from the field. I will side with the latter on that one. I love the upside here with Salazar, but he isn't a must play on this slate for me. When grading down the slate, he does rank first in SwStr% and K% this season. His ERA is also a half a run higher than his xFIP and SIERA. There is risk, but the upside is worth taking.
