Each day of the MLB season will bring us some major price differences among starting pitchers on all sites. These price discrepancies and the site's roster differences can alter the way we use pitchers on each site, as well as how the field of opponents will use them. Listed below are five of today's top pitchers, each with their salary listed as well as the cafe value that takes into account both the total salary cap on the site and points-per-dollar. We've also provided some betting info for you reference. The higher the cafe value, the better the points-per-dollar play is.

Chris Sale

Chris Sale is back in action against a team that is not located in Cleveland, so I feel comfortable using Sale once again. His price has come down a tad, and isn't $14,000 on DraftKings, but is damn well near it. Sale has dominated Toronto in two starts this season, totaling 15 scoreless innings with 25 strikeouts, and two walks. Sale comes in as a lone top option and is far and above the best arm over $10,000 tonight. On FanDuel the usual prices reside, making them a bit easier to play with the right value bats. Toronto is loaded with right-handed bats, but right-handed bats that have been pedestrian against southpaws this season. Toronto ranks 14th in wOBA against left-handed pitching (.320), with a 21.3% strikeout rate. Josh Donaldson and the two first baseman have been the real notable bats against southpaws this season, with the occasional appearance from Steve Pearce. Sale should be able to get through this lineup again. He has a 2.71 xFIP and 36% strikeout rate to lead the slate, and continues to have a minimal BB% (5%). Sale is playable in all formats, but I wouldn't put him down as a must play in tournaments.
