Each day of the MLB season will bring us some major price differences among starting pitchers on all sites. These price discrepancies and the site's roster differences can alter the way we use pitchers on each site, as well as how the field of opponents will use them. Listed below are five of today's top pitchers, each with their salary listed as well as the cafe value that takes into account both the total salary cap on the site and points-per-dollar. We've also provided some betting info for you reference. The higher the cafe value, the better the points-per-dollar play is.

Chris Sale

We have an extremely top heavy slate of pitching options tonight, starting with Chris Sale. The lefty has a 2.47 ERA over his last ten games and a 2.70 ERA on the season. Sale is averaging 9.7 strikeouts per start in that span, and has a 36.1% strikeout rate on the season. His SwStr% sits at 15.5%, which is just a shade lower than Corey Kluber's at 16.2%. Sale has 36 strikeouts in three starts against Tampa Bay this season, and has also thrown 21 innings in those three starts. Sale works deep into games, and you know the strikeouts will be there. He leads the slate in SIERA and FIP, while also allowing the lowest walk rate of any starting pitcher going tonight (4.7%). He enters the day as a huge road favorite in Tropicana Field, which is one of the better places for pitchers to pitch. The Rays rank 20th in wOBA against left-handers and have a 25.6% strikeout rate. Over the last 30 days, Tampa Bay ranks 28th in wOBA and have a 24.2% strikeout rate. It won't get any easier tonight against Sale, and Boston will be looking to push some room between them two in the division. Ranking Sale and Kluber, that is tough to do. I will give the edge to Kluber for being at home, but both are playable in all formats.
