Welcome to MLB GPP Stacking & Ownership. In this article I will give you three options to stack. Remember that winning a GPP isn't always about maximizing points but instead maximizing some form of points and ownership.

A nice eight gamer, after a few monster slates. With a lot of top arms pitching the past two days, tonight should even out in terms of pitching prices and roster construction.

Option 1

White Sox @ Red Sox - Game Total 9.5

NamePositionFanDuel SalaryDraftKings Salary
Tim AndersonSS$2.500$3,700
Adam EatonOF$3,400$3,600
Jose Abreu1B$3,600$4,600
Melky CabreraOF$2,900$4,000
Todd Frazier3B$3,200$3,700

Red Sox lefty Eduardo Rodriguez has a tough task on his hands. Since 2015, Rodriguez has a .314 wOBA and a 1.36 WHIP to right handed bats, which is what. The White Sox are projected for a five runs and have a solid matchup. The White Sox have a .303 wOBA against left handed pitching since 2015, so relatively mediocre, however, Jose Abreu, Adam Eaton and Todd Frazier all have wOBAs above .320. Abreu and Frazier both have ISO's above .200. So, while the bottom of the White Sox order is weak, you can be confident in the group listed above.

Option 2

Reds @ Rangers - Game Total 9

NamePositionFanDuel SalaryDraftKings Salary
Shin-Soo ChooOF$3,000$3,500
Ian DesmondOF$4,200$4,800
Nomar MazaraOF$2,900$3,700
Adrian Beltre3B$3,500$3,200
Prince Fielder1B$2,400$3,000

The Rangers have a great matchup tonight against Reds righty Dan Straily. The Rangers are -203 favorites tonight and are projected for 5.5 runs. Straily only has a 15.8 K% and a huge 14.4 BB% against lefties since 2014, and unfortunately for him, that's the majority of the top of the Rangers lineup. Since 2015, the Rangers are ninth in wOBA against right handed pitching. Shin-Soo Choo, Nomar Mazara, Ian Desmond and Prince Fielder all have wOBA's over above .350 to right handed pitching since 2015. They likely aren't a cash game option, but the Rangers have a great shot as a contrarian tournament play.

Option 3

Phillies @ Twins - Game Total 8.5

NamePositionFanDuel SalaryDraftKings Salary
Edaurdo Nunez3B/SS$3,300$4,300
Joe Mauer1B$2,800$3,600
Robbie GrossmanOF$3.000$3,500
Brian Dozier2B$3,500$4,300
Trevor Plouffe3B$2,500$3,500

After what happened to Aaron Nola yesterday, the word is out on the Twins bats against the Phillies. They all come at reasonable prices, and are just as valuable as standalone plays as they are in a stack. Adam Morgan is allowing a .361 wOBA and 1.86 HR/9 to right handed bats since 2015. Morgan also has a .488 xFIP. This is a tough matchup for Morgan, and that's exposed in the money-line. The Twins are -174 favorites and projected for 4.9 runs. The Twins are a solid 11th in ISO and an average 16th in wOBA against left handed pitching since 2015.
