I start this article with a very contrarian stack here. Outside of Joey Votto and Jose Peraza, these hitters really aren't what you would call red-hot right now. Even at home this year, the Reds own a .325 wOBA, which ranks 15th. It's honestly not that good of an offense. However, they rank seventh in wOBA this month despite being in the bottom five of runs scored. Peraza has continued his success from August, where he hit .463 in and now is hitting .333 in the month of September. Atop the lineup, he's really boosted this team. Adam Duvall has cooled off considerably from his torrid stretch over the summer, but he's still smashed 31 home runs on the year. He still holds a .268 ISO against righties on the season. Opposing starter, Zach Davies, has looked good since his blowup outing against the Cubs back in August. He still is struggling allowing base hits, as he allowed seven hits in his last start. On the road this year, Davies holds a 4.39 ERA.
