At first blush, this might seem like an odd stack choice. The Twins rank tied for 17th in wRC+ (98) against southpaws this year, per FanGraphs, and they're small underdogs (Royals -127, according to Pinnacle Sports) in a road ballpark that suppresses homers. Dig a little deeper, though, and there's a lot to like. For starters, some of the significant pieces in the suggested stack had little to do with Minnesota settling in as a middle of the pack offense versus lefties on the year as a whole.
