Welcome to MLB GPP Stacking & Ownership. In this article I will give you three options to stack. Remember that winning a GPP isn't always about maximizing points but instead maximizing some form of points and ownership.
Option 1
Blue Jays @ Red Sox - Team Total 5.25
Name | Position | FanDuel Salary | DraftKings Salary |
Dustin Pedroia | 2B | $3,400 | $3,800 |
Xander Bogaerts | SS | $3,800 | $4,000 |
David Ortiz | 1B | $4,300 | $5,300 |
Mookie Betts | OF | $4,200 | $5,200 |
Jackie Bradley Jr. | OF | $3,600 | $4,400 |
Now that the Sox have clinched the AL East, who knows what kind of lineup they will put through tonight. Last night's lineup started off with Aaron Hill and Andrew Benintendi. I think the three guys who sat yesterday (Dustin Pedroia, Mookie Betts, Hanley Ramirez) will all be back in, but I could definitely see the struggling Xander Bogaerts taking the night off. Depending on who is playing and what spots in the order, you could save some serious salary here. Marco Estrada is on a nice stretch, but I wouldn't be too concerned about him. Estrada is coming off back-to-back quality starts. Before that though, he was struggling a lot, as he was giving up a handful of runs in almost every start. He's pitched well against Boston this year, but did struggled in his last start against them. He went just 2 ⅓ innings while giving up four runs. For an offense that got shellacked in a three-game sweep by the Yankees, this Red Sox offense should rebound and want to finish off the season strong, proving that they still are the best offense around.
