Stacking has been a popular way to bring down tournaments, and some stacks are even cash game viable. We offer three free top stacks of the night and will provide stacks in a wide range of price tags. We do want to make it known that stacks in Colorado are often fairly obvious and popular stacks. We don't feel the need to break down Colorado stacks and will be more focused on other stacking options. Unless we are struggling to find three others, Colorado stacks will be a top choice but not broken down. We tend to look at park factors, Vegas numbers, starting pitcher and bullpen numbers, and various offensive stats. While the numbers for Perdomo dating back to last season don't scream "Hey, I'm a gascan!!", the truth is that he is far from a quality pitcher and we can continue to stack against him. Perdomo is a groundball pitcher, generating groundballs at a 60% clip, that has posted a sub-par strikeout rate of 17% dating back to last year. He has posted a 4.69 ERA over that span, to go along with a 1.55 WHIP. His 80% contact rate tells us that Dodger bats should be doing a decent job of generating contact on his pitches tonight and anytime these guys get a chance to load up the bags, they can be dangerous. We can target him with hitters from both sides of the plate tonight, starting with Cody Bellinger who has posted a stellar .383 wOBA and .301 ISO against right-handed pitching dating back to last season. Digging into Perdomo's pitch-mix this season, Bellinger profiles as an amazing option for a home run tonight, as he has posted a .263 ISO against Perdomo's primary pitch, a 93 MPH two-seam fastball, and a .467 ISO against sliders, while Matt Kemp has posted a .224 ISO against it. Kemp doesn't profile as top option, as he has posted a .336 wOBA and .205 ISO against right-handed pitching and I would rather toss in Yasiel Puig (.370 wOBA, .252 ISO) and his .287 ISO against sliders, Chris Taylor (.352 wOBA, .211 ISO), and Yasmani Grandal (.344 wOBA, .243 ISO) for a nice four-man stack. Corey Seager, Joc Pederson are other names to consider.

Rick Porcello has been off to a good start this season, posting a 1.83 ERA across 19.2 innings and striking out 17 hitters, but his opponents haven't exactly been top-tier hitters. Okay, well, his opponents outside of the Yankees. Porcello posted two of his strong outings against the Rays, and while the Yankees have a lot of powerful bats in their lineup, they also strike out a ton. Tonight, he faces an entirely different challenge, as he takes the mound against the Los Angeles Angels. The Angels as a team are the second-best team in baseball against right-handed pitchers, striking out just 16.7% of the time while posting a .358 wOBA and 133 wRC+, and they happen to be hitting the ball extremely hard out of the gate. Collectively, they have posted a 39.1% hard contact rating on the season. Porcello relies heavily on his two-seam fastball and his slider when attacking right-handed hitters, throwing the combo 81% of the time, and there are several hitters in this LA lineup that profile extremely well against it. That starts with Ian Kinsler who has posted a .448 xwOBA against the two-seam fastball, to go along with his .222 ISO, and Mike Trout who has a .341 ISO and against the two-seamer and a .290 ISO against the slider. While Kinsler's numbers against right-handed pitching overall, .305 OBP and .157 ISO, leave a little bit to be desired, he is still a lead-off man for one of the best offenses in baseball. Trout, who is supposedly good at this baseball thing, has posted a .347 ISO and .442 wOBA against right-handed pitching dating back to last season, followed by Justin Upton and his .238 ISO and .355 wOBA. Albert Pujols will bat cleanup for the Angels and is someone that can be skipped if you would like, as his numbers against righties are pretty pedestrian, although his .394 xwOBA against two-seam fastballs is appealing. Zack Cozart is the top option towards the middle-half of the LA order and he has posted a .237 ISO and .380 wOBA against RHP dating back to last season. He profiles extremely well against Porcello's pitches, as well, as he has posted a .261 ISO and .309 xwOBA against two-seam fastballs and a .204 ISO and .330 xwOBA against sliders. Feel free to sprinkle in Kole Calhoun, Luis Valbuena, or any other left-handed hitter that may crack the lineup tonight, as Porcello's 46.1% FB rate could come back to haunt him with the new lowered boundary at Angel's Stadium.

With a lot of talented arms on tonight's slate, narrowing down stacks is a little tough. That being said, Vegas is extremely high on the Diamondbacks, as evidenced by their 4.8 run total, as they face off against the young Chris Stratton. Stratton has been solid to start the season, tossing 17.1 innings of just five-run ball and has struck out 11 over that span, but I am hoping that doesn't continue tonight. He is below-league-average at generating strikeouts, as evidenced by his 19.3% strikeout rate, and his ERA indicators suggest he should struggle at some point soon, assuming he regresses to his 4.87 SIERA and 4.46 xFIP. Stratton does struggle a bit against left-handed hitters, allowing a .327 wOBA and 1.63 WHIP, but has been outstanding against right-handed hitters, allowing a .282 wOBA. Stratton relies mostly on his four-seam fastball, hurling it about 58% of the time while mixing on some curveballs to left-handed hitters and sliders to right-handed hitters. Of the Diamondbacks' left-handed hitters, Daniel Descalso stands out as a great value, as he has posted a .469 xwOBA and .526 ISO against curveballs and a .250 ISO against four-seam fastballs. Descalso has posted a .328 woBA and .168 ISO against right-handed pitching dating back to last season, and should undoubtedly be in the lineup tonight. If Alex Avila makes it into the lineup, he is another value option to consider, as he has posted a .250 ISO against curveballs and .211 ISO against four-seamers. David Peralta (.363 wOBA and .169 ISO) has struggled against curveballs but his .394 xwOBA against four-seam fastballs is appealing, while we can also target A.J. Pollock ( .344 wOBA, .196 ISO) has enjoyed success against four-seam fastballs and sliders, as well, and of course Paul Goldschmidt and his .251 ISO and .391 wOBA is a great option tonight.
