Stacking has become a prime way to take down big tournaments, as well as giving your cash game team a solid floor. We focus on opposing pitcher stats, Vegas, weather, park factors, team stats, salaries, and player stats when deciding the top three stacks of the night. I know. Shocker we look at those things. If there is a Coors game on the slate, we will mostly divert our attention elsewhere, as Coors games are the obvious stacks of the night. It doesn't need much breaking down. Be sure to check out or revamped Stack Generator and Stack features inside our Lineup Optimizer and Tools.

Texas has been a frustrating team to roster, as I stacked them against Chris Tillman in Game 1 of the series. Camden Yards is still on par with the better ballparks, so park factors shouldn't matter to the Texas bats who usually perform better at home. Kevin Gausman has allowed a .378 wOBA to right-handers and a .383 wOBA to lefties. Camden Yards plays well for lefties, so guys like Shin-Soo Choo, Nomar Mazara, and Rougned Odor have an edge. Choo has a .331 wOBA off right-handers this season, while Mazara and Odor have over a .200 ISO against righties. Texas' lineup is always so deep where you can consider Carlos Gomez, Joey Gallo, and Mike Napoli. All have an ISO over .200 against righties this season. Baltimore actually has the higher run total in this one, which is a bit odd given their numbers against lefties. I know it is Martin Perez, but he is tough to stack against with the higher groundball rate.

The Diamondbacks bats struggle away from Chase Field, but Great American Ballpark is a hell of a place to hit. We have seen high totals here and a ton of upside. Tim Adleman has allowed a .354 wOBA to right-handers and a .350 wOBA to lefties. Arizona has somewhat cooled off over the last few weeks, and a lot of it has to do with the red hot Dodgers in the NL West. Jake Lamb and Paul Goldschmidt both are the standout plays in this one. Goldy has a .421 wOBA and .287 ISO against right-handers this season. Jake Lamb has a .382 wOBA and .262 ISO. David Peralta and A.J. Pollock both have over a wOBA of .350 against right-handers this season. Arizona is in a good spot today, and are not that expensive as stacks in the past. J.D. Martinez is now a member of the Diamondbacks, but might need a day or two before cracking the lineup.

Carlos Rodon is a boom-or-bust lefty, and the Dodgers are sort of a boom-or-bust offense against southpaws themselves. Rodon has allowed a .341 wOBA to right-handers in his career, with a 1.19 HR/9. His 10.4% walk rate can create a bit of an issue as well. The Dodgers bats against lefties have picked things up. Justin Turner has a .418 ISO and .560 wOBA against right-handers this season. Logan Forsythe and Chris Taylor both have an ISO over .200 and wOBA over .400. We will also get some platoon bats against Rodon as well. Kike Hernandez has a .373 wOBA and .345 ISO against southpaws. Austin Barnes has a .386 wOBA and .286 ISO if he is catching behind the dish. Guaranteed Rate Field is a plus for power and Los Angeles gets the DH here.
