Stacking has become a prime way to take down big tournaments, as well as giving your cash game team a solid floor. We focus on opposing pitcher stats, Vegas, weather, park factors, team stats, salaries, and player stats when deciding the top three stacks of the night. I know. Shocker we look at those things. If there is a Coors game on the slate, we will mostly divert our attention elsewhere, as Coors games are the obvious stacks of the night. It doesn't need much breaking down. Be sure to check out or revamped Stack Generator and Stack features inside our Lineup Optimizer and Tools.

First things first, Washington, Los Angeles, and New York will be the chalk stacks. New York edges out the other two for me, but do note they are in good spots. Ballpark and the wind blowing out at 14mph gave the edge to the Yankees. David Holmberg has an ERA under three throughout a few starts, but the regression is coming. He has allowed a 39.7% hard-contact rate to right-handers this season, with an xFIP of 5.43. Over 71 career innings against right-handers, Holmberg is allowing a .376 wOBA, with a 2.28 HR/9. New York has turned a lineup that struggled against lefties, to a powerhouse lineup of right-handers. Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge have enormous power from the right side, but Matt Holliday boasts a .365 wOBA and .204 ISO against southpaws. Starlin Castro can hold his own, and the young Tyler Austin will crack the lineup for a punt value if you need one.
