Each day during MLB season will bring us some major price differences among starting pitchers on all sites. These price discrepancies and the site's roster differences can alter the way we use pitchers on each site. Listed below are five of today's top pitchers, each with their salary listed as well as a ratio that takes into account both the total salary cap on the site and the number of roster positions that need filling. We've also provided some betting info for you reference. The higher the ratio, the more you'll be able to spend elsewhere.

Gio Gonzalez

Gonzalez certainly hasn't looked his best to start the season, offering up two below-average outings thus far. His big issue in his career has been walks and that's what has bit him in each of his two starts thus far, walking six batters in 12 innings so far, which has also kept him from pitching deep into games. However, he has massive upside and is one of the higher priced pitchers on the slate for a reason, sporting a 24.8% strikeout rate last season and he'll face a Cardinals team that has the third-highest offensive strikeout rate on the young season as they've started the year very slow. He makes for an elite tournament option on all sites as a slight favorite today.

I'm worried about Carrasco coming off that scary injury, but the numbers don't lie, will have to fire him in a couple lineups

I'm of the same thinking here. Not sure how much of it will be mental with Carrasco, but he has the stuff to dominate any lineup. I'm hoping some DFSers will be scared away by not knowing the whole story.
