We made it to the weekend! We have a very interesting 9 game slate on Saturday. I always say that these Saturday slates are the back to back slates. We have 5 teams on back to backs. We have New Orleans in the worst situation being on the second half of a back to back in the Mile High City, Denver. The elevation in the Mile High City takes a toll on teams making the players feel more fatigued, so in this situation I will be fading the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Miami Heat are playing the Brooklyn Nets, and the Heat have one of the highest implied team totals at 112.25. The Heat potentially may have an extremely thin frontcourt. The Brooklyn Nets have been dominated by big men all year, as they rank 30th in fantasy points allowed to the power forward position, as they give up 61.5 fantasy points per game. The Heat have been playing without their starting center Hassan Whiteside for two games. The Heat also have been without role player, James Johnson, for 4 games. Because of these injures, Kelly Olynyk has been moved into the starting lineup. All three of these players currently have a questionable status for tomorrow's game. In Adebyo's two starts, he averaged 30 minutes a game. He will be in line for a huge increase in minutes if two of these three players sit tomorrow. Adebayo is in a prime spot to one of the top plays on the slate. If Adebayo plays the 30 minutes he has been playing, we a projecting him to score 33.30 points, but his upside in this spot is immense!

Here we are again with another season where Russell Westbrook will average a triple double. We expect him to get one every night, and sure enough, he goes out and does it! Russell Westbrook is always a great play when The Thunder are 100 percent healthy. On Saturday, they will be without one of the MVP front runners, Paul George. We will most likely see an uptick in Westbrook's usage as well as his minutes if this game stays competitive George has a 29.91 usage rate, Westbrook already has a 33.56 usage rate.. The Thunder will be going against the San Antonio Spurs who are bottom 10 in defending the point guard position. We are currently projecting Westbrook to score 58.15 fantasy points, but with the increased usage rate and minutes, I can see 65+. Of course we will have to pay up for Westbrook, but he will be well worth it!

As I said before, Saturdays are usually chock full teams playing on the second night of back to backs. That is exactly what we have here in the Phoenix Suns vs the Los Angeles Lakers game. This game has the second highest point total on the slate, so there will be plenty of fantasy points up for grabs. LeBron is in an awesome spot. He has been on fire since he “activated playoff mode," but he is the most expensive player on the slate. The best point per dollar play in this game is Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker. He came into Friday's game with a questionable status because of a sprained big toe. It clearly wasn't too serious as he played 33 minutes and scored 40.7 FanDuel Points. Shooting guards have their way with the Lakers as they give up 45.5 fantasy points per game to shooting guards. This is a pace up spot for Devin Booker and the Suns, as the Lakers play at an extremely fast pace. More possessions equal more points, and all this adds up to a huge night for Devin Booker!

This next person will be a huge source of salary relief for us. The Philadelphia 76ers will be another team with a thin frontcourt. They have been without their superstar center, Joel Embiid, since the All-Star break, so Boban Marjanovic has been starting in his place. Now, Boban will also be out Saturday with a sprained right knee. Jonah Bolden is that source of salary relief with a FanDuel price that is near minimum at $3,900. Bolden doesn't have the best matchup, as the Golden State Warriors rank 12th against power forwards. We are projecting him to play 25 minutes and score 24.41 FanDuel points. This game currently does not have a projected implied team total or spread, but because of the lack of big men on the 76ers, he should see a full compliment of minutes even if the game is a blow out. He is a great candidate for the drop score on FanDuel, but he has the potential to get 30 or more points.

The Dallas Mavericks rookie Jalen Brunson has seen a nice uptick in minutes his last 11 games, averaging about 25 minutes a game. Last game he played 33 minutes and scored 42.1 FanDuel points. Guess how many minutes we have him projected for today? Yes, you guessed it, 33! The Mavs are playing the Memphis Grizzlies in a game with a 212.5 total and a 5 point spread. This game is projected to stay close, which should bode nicely for the rookie's minutes. The Grizzles rank 8th against point guards this season, but that is with both Marc Gasol who was traded and star rookie Jaren Jackson Jr who is currently injured with a deep right thigh bruise. The Grizzles do not have the same rim protection they had early on in the season. If Brunson is able to shake off Mike Conley, he should be able to score at the rim with ease.

If you place these 5 players on your FanDuel team you will have an average of $6,400 dollars a player. In the comment section let me know who you guys would add to this list. Who is the stud you will pay up for? Let's win big..together!
