Monday's slate was very interesting, we had a lot of things go right and a few things go wrong. We still were able to profit so that is always good, but now it is time to turn the page and do it again! We have an awesome 6 game slate here on Tuesday March 5th, there are no back to backs so all of the teams should be rested. The slate tips off at 7P.M., with five of the six games being live by 8. The Celtics take on Golden State at 10:30, if you are leading a tournament and have no exposure to this game, do not count your winnings till the end of the night. We currently do not have an over/under for this game, but I am projecting it to be the highest on the slate.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will be taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. We definitely want to have exposure to this game, of course we can roster point guard Russell Westbrook as he is a walking triple-double, but he has been “struggling" as of late. He hasn't reached his fantasy point average in three of his last 4 games. We also have Paul George who has missed the team's last three games and he has a questionable tag going into Tuesday's game. My favorite point per dollar play on this Thunder team is shooting guard Dennis Schroder, who has played 31 or more minutes in 5 of his last 6 games, and has started two of the three games Paul George has missed. We currently have Schroder projected to play 23 minutes, against the Timberwolves who rank 17th vs the shooting guard position. Paul George has a massive 29.91 usage rate and that will have to be distributed to a few players, and Schroder will be one of the main beneficiaries. Schroder's current usgae rate is 26.27 percent and we can see a solid 5 percent uptick in this game. Schroder may end up being one of the top value plays at $5,600 dollars on FanDuel because of his awesome matchup on Tuesday.

The Orlando's Magic's center Nikola Vucevic has been a staple of consistency this season, he is virtually a lock to get a double-double every night. He has scored 50 or more fantasy points in 5 of his last 6 games. On Tuesday he has a matchup vs the Philadelphia 76ers who are very thin in the frontcourt. On the season the 76ers rank 19th vs the center position, but Vucevic's matchup is even better than that number shows, as the 76ers will be without their star center Joel Embiid and his backup Boban Marjanovic. Vucevic will have the undersized Jonah Bolden and Mike Scott trying to defend him, this is a spot where I can see Vucevic dominate and put up 35 real NBA points and grab 15 rebounds. His usage rate has been an impressive 25.05 this season, but I can see that number increase because his Magic teammates know he has a mismatch and they may force the ball down to him in the post. With Westbrook and Harden on the slate we may see Vucevic at lower ownership, I am going to have plenty of exposure to him as he is my favorite point for dollar play on the slate!

The Philadelphia 76ers power forward Tobias Harris has been one of my favorite plays since Embiid went down with his injury after the All-Star break. The 76ers play the Orlando Magic on Tuesday who rank 17th vs the Power Forward position, so this isn't a very tough matchup for Harris. The 76ers have and will be extremely thin in the frontcourt, so they have been giving Tobias all of the minutes he can handle, as he has played 34 or more minutes in 7 consecutive games. With Embiid out, Harris has also shouldered the load of scoring for this 76ers team. As he has scored 20 or more NBA points in 6 straight games. His usage rate on the season is 22.68 but we will definitely see an uptick in that because of the injures. We are projecting him to 5X his salary with 40.06 fantasy points scored, Harris has one of the safest floors on the slate. He should be in all of your cash lineups, but he has the ceiling that he can win you tournaments as well.

Another player for the 76ers we should look at is Ben Simmons, who has recorded a triple-double in back to back games. In fact he has flirted with a triple-double every game since Embiid has been sidelined. The Magic rank 10th vs point guards, so this is no easy matchup for Simmons. But his fantasy output comes from so many different areas, that he can thrive in any matchup. His usage rate has been 22.02 percent on the season but we may see an uptick in usage rate because of all of the injures the 76ers are dealing with. We are projecting him to 48.23 fantasy points in 37 minutes. In his last two games Simmons has played 40 and 41 minutes, if we get that many minutes with an increased usage rate we may see Simmons score 55+. I believe Ben Simmons and Russell Westbrook will score about the same amount of fantasy points tomorrow, and Simmons is the better value, as he is $1,500 cheaper. Simmons, like his teammate Tobias Harris has a very high floor and should be in for strong consideration for your cash games.

This Tuesday slate is one of the more impressive Tuesday slates we have had in a while, we have some great matchups in games that should be tightly contested. Days like Tuesday I like to keep a tight player pool, and lower how much I play. Usually there are one or two players who destroy the slate and if you don't roster them you probably aren't winning. Be smart and good luck! In the comment section let me know who your favorite plays are on this slate. Let's win big…together!
