We made it to hump day, and our reward is this huge 10 game slate with some awesome games. We only have 4 teams on back to back, so most teams should be rested. In terms of pace, we have some of the top teams in the league. We should think about game stacking those games featuring the Lakers, Hawks, and the Pelicans.

The first question I ask myself when dissecting a slate is, “Are the Atlanta Hawks playing?" The answer to that question on this Wednesday's slate is yes. The reason I ask myself that is because I stack against them every chance I get! On offense they play at one of the quickest paces in the league. More possessions means equals more points, but more importantly for us, the Hawks are one of the worst defensive teams in the association. The Atlanta Hawks are hosting the San Antonio Spurs, who have some of the best value on this slate due to matchup. We can roster Demar Derozan or Lamarcus Aldridge, they have fantastic matchups, but my favorite point per dollar play on the Spurs is point guard Derrick White. One reason that I love White is because of his matchup, as the Hawks rank 27th vs the point guard position. The other reason is because ever since coming back from injury, White has been on a tear. He's played 29 or more minutes in each of his last three games, while scoring 36 fantasy points or more. If this game stays fairly close, as the 6 point spread implies, White could score 40+ in this terrific matchup! At 5,400 White should be a lock in all your DraftKings lineups!

On Wednesday the Philadelphia 76ers will be visiting the Chicago Bulls. We need to keep an eye on both teams as they may elect to rest some players, as both teams are on their second night of back to backs. One of my favorite plays from yesterday's slate was the Orlando Magic's center Nikola Vucevic. It didn't work out as well as we wanted, but he had an awesome matchup against the 76ers, as they rank 19th against the center position. Those numbers may misrepresent the actual matchup, as they actually are worse because of how thin the 76ers are in the frontcourt because Joel Embiid hasn't played since before the All-Star break. So now we turn our attention to the Chicago Bulls center, Robin Lopez. He doesn't have the 25.05 usage rate that Vucevic has, but Lopez's usage rate is a solid 20.11 percent. Lopez has been very consistent since Bull's head coach Jim Boylen gave him consistent minutes. This season, Lopez averages 19.4 minutes a game, but he has played 27 or more minutes in his last 8 games. We have to keep a close eye on him because he is playing on the second night of a back to back. If Lopez plays, he is a nice form of salary relief on this slate with a solid floor. He should be a staple in your cash games, but he also has the upside to help you win a large field tournament!

Another potentially low owned cash game play is Phoenix Sun small forward Mikal Bridges. He has a high floor which he continuously reaches night in and night out. We can't ask for much more in terms of minutes floor from a $4,800 player. Bridges has logged at least 26 minutes in in 19 of his last 21 points. We are projecting him to play 28 minutes on Wednesday, if he could give us a point per minute he could end up being one of the better values on the slate. He has the opportunity to do just that against the New York tanking Knicks, as they rank 23rd vs the small forward position. I believe he is one of the safer plays on this Wednesday slate, because if this game turns into a blowout, I believe his minutes are secure. Bridges is an awesome play on FanDuel, because we have the rare case of a player being cheaper on FanDuel than DraftKings. So we should expect his ownership on FanDuel to double his ownership on Draftkings. Lock him into your cash games on FanDuel!

The Dallas Mavericks have one of the highest pace up spots on this slate. They are traveling to Washington to take on the Wizards, who currently play at the 8th fastest pace in the league. So we want to get exposure to this Mavs team but who do we roster? My favorite play on this team is power forward Dwight Powell. At the trading deadline the Mavs traded Deandre Jordan to the Knicks for injured Kristaps Porzingis. Leaving plenty of minutes up for grabs, and Powell got more minutes and now is flourishing in his new role for his team. Powell's price has been raised on FanDuel due to his recent hot streak, but I believe they rose his price primarily because of his matchup vs the Wizards. Even at his new price Powell can reach and exceed value as the Washington Wizards rank 27th vs the power forward position. Powell has scored more than 32 points in 3 of his last 4 games, with one of those being a 51 point eruption. He has added peripheral stats to his game, in the past he was strictly just a rebounder but now Powell is a well rounded player. He is another solid floor play for us tomorrow, if this game stays close as the 6 point spread implies, we could see Powell dominant Washington in this amazing matchup!

I saved the best and riskiest play for last, that being Atlanta Hawks center Alex Len. Len is the ultimate high ceiling/low floor play. Unlike some of my other top plays , we should only consider Len on FanDuel as our drop score player. Len killed those of us who played him on Monday, as he only scored 8.8 fantasy points. Because of this, we may have him at a reduced ownership, which is exactly what we want in large field tournaments. Len has a middle of the matchup against the Spurs, as they rank 13th vs centers. But the may reason we want to roster Len is because the Hawks may be another team with a thin frontcourt on Wednesday. As John Collins is a game-time decision due to flu-like symptoms, and Dewayne Dedmon is doubtful due to a right knee contusion. I will have a lot of exposure to Len if one of Collins or Dedmon sits out. But if they both miss the game, I will most likely lock Len into 100 percent of my lineups, as the Hawks will give him as many minutes as he can handle at the center position. We want exposure to this game and this team, this game has the highest over/under on the slate and the Hawks have the third highest implied team total on the slate!

10 game slates are always interesting, there are so many different ways to differentiate yourself from the field. Today, I gave you some low to mid-range players so you can stock up on those studs like LeBron and Anthony-Towns. Let me know what studs you will be rostering, or other value plays you have your eyes on. Let's win big…together!
