Happy Monday everyone, hopefully you all had an awesome weekend. Let's continue our hot streak from last week! We have a great 6 game slate with 3 teams on the second night of back to backs. Those three teams are Toronto, Detroit, and Houston. Now that the season is dwindling down, we will see teams start shutting down their players as they are out of playoff contention. Luckily for us, all of the teams on Monday's slate are fighting for a playoff spot or playoff seeding (expect tanking Cleveland) so these teams should be playing their top players for their normal allotment of minutes.

The Pistons will be visiting Brooklyn as they take on the Nets, this game has a 221 point total with a 2 point spread. My favorite play on the slate is Detroit Pistons' center Andre Drummond, because the Nets get destroyed by centers, as they are the worst team against the position. We can expect a double-double of out Drummond, as he leads the league in doubles-doubles with 53. Drummond has one of the highest floors in the league, as he has scored more than 35 fantasy points in 17 of his last 18 games since coming off of his injury. Drummond should be a staple in your cash games. He didn't reach value on Sunday, as he only played 29 minutes and scored 35.5 fantasy points in the Pistons' blowout win against the Chicago Bulls. This is another reason why I love Drummond on Monday, because he may come at reduced ownership due to recency bias!

My favorite games to stack is the Sacramento Kings vs the Washington Wizards, this game has two of the top 8 teams in terms of pace in the league. This game has the highest over/under by a wide margin at 241 with a 2 point spread, so we want a lot of exposure to this game. One of my favorite point per dollar plays in this game is the King's shooting guard Buddy Hield. He is the same price on both sites, making him a better deal on FanDuel. He has a solid minutes floor as he averages 32 minutes per game this season. In the past Hield's fantasy output used to rely on if his shot was going down, but he has expanded his game. Hield is averaging 21 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assist this season, but has been rebounding at another level lately, as he has grabbed 5 or more rebounds in 12 of his last 13 games. He comes in with a solid floor because of his averages on the season, but he has the scoring upside to win us a tournament. Hield can get hot from the field and score us 35+ raw points and end up scoring 50+ fantasy points.

The Kings vs Wizards game will have a lot of high ownership so when stacking we want to differentiate our lineups. One easy way to do that is by rostering the Washington Wizard's small forward Jeff Green. He averages 28 minutes a game and most $4,700 players do not have that type of minutes floor. He should only be a tournament play when you game stack this game, but he has the upside to win us a tournament. Green contributes across the board, even in the defensive category. We are projecting him to play 31 minutes and score 24.98 fantasy points on Monday. None of that stands out, but that is what makes him the perfect contrarian play. The high pace in this game will give him the opportunity to score more raw points and get a few more defensive stats, so he could end up scoring 35+ and be a key piece to your tournament winning lineup.

One of my favorite spend up plays on the slate is Toronto Raptor's small forward Kawhi Leonard. He was held out on Sunday's matchup against the Heat because the Raptors were on the front end of a back to back. I believe head coach Nick Nurse wants to rest his star players down the stretch, so I believe on Monday he will give Kyle Lowry the day off. On the season Leonard has a 27.45 percent usage rate that will see an uptick without Lowry, as Leonard will be the teams main ball handler. He also has an awesome matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, who rank 22nd vs the small forward position. Leonard won't be highly owned because this game has a 10.5 point spread, so he is a great pivot off of the other studs on this slate. If the Cavs keep this game close, Leonard could be the highest scorer on the slate. I want to reiterate that I will only roster Leonard if Kyle Lowry is rested on Monday. If the Raptors are at full health, this game could be a blowout and we should completely fade this game.

The Oklahoma City Thunder vs the Utah Jazz could be a contrarian game to stack on Monday. People are afraid to stack against the Jazz because they have been one of the top defensive teams in the league the last few seasons, but that is not the case this season. They have been playing at a much faster pace and they have the second highest over/under at 227 on Monday's slate. My favorite play on the Jazz is shooting guard Donovan Mitchell. He has a huge 34.69 percent usage rate, and I project that to be even higher as the Jazz will be without point guard Ricky Rubio. Mitchell also has a fantastic matchup as the Thunder rank 28th vs the shooting guard position. We are projecting him to play 33 minutes and score 37.62 fantasy points, but he could easily get 35 to 38 minutes because of the Jazz injures. This game has a 3.5 point spread, if Mitchell gets his full allotment of minutes in this awesome matchup, he could outscore James Harden and he is $3,500 dollars cheaper.

On this slate the Sacramento Kings vs the Washington Wizards game will have plenty of exposure because of the massive 241.5 game total. We should have exposure to this game, but try to differentiate your lineups with lower owned players such as Jeff Green. What game will you be stacking tonight? Let's win big…together!
