Let's continue the hot streak to Friday and through the weekend! We have a solid 7 game slate on Friday. We only have one team on a second night of a back to back, that team being the Denver Nuggets. There are a few games that are projected to be blowouts, as we have 4 games with a 7 point spread or more. To be contrarian, we need to have exposure to some of these games as most people will completely fade them. I will actually have a fair amount of exposure to the Memphis Grizzles vs the Orlando Magic that has an extremely low 208.5 over/under, because this game has some of the best value on the slate.

One of my favorite plays will have revenge on his mind on Friday, this player being D'angelo Russell against the Los Angeles Lakers who drafted him 2nd overall. He has an awesome matchup against the Lakers who rank 22nd vs the shooting guard position. This game has 2 of the top 12 teams in terms of pace, which is why this game has a massive 229.5 point game total with a 1.5 point spread. The Brooklyn Nets are in the race for a playoff spot, currently being in 7th place. They can realistically finish as high as 6th, but they also have a chance of falling out of the playoffs. Because the Nets are in the thick of a race, Russell has seen an uptick in his minutes lately. In the past, his fantasy game relied on if his shot was going in or not. He is now contributing across the board which gives him a solid floor. I wouldn't put him in my cash games because of his boom or bust potential. He showed us his ceiling game last game as he scored 73.8 fantasy points. He can do that interview any game, and he could do it vs the Lakers with revenge on his mind!

We are going back to the well for the third time since Sunday with Toronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet. The Toronto Raptors have already ruled out point guard Kyle Lowry for Friday's game, so we will get VanVleet in the starting lineup. He has started the last three games for the Raptors and has played 31, 28, and 40 minutes. The Toronto Raptors will be hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second game of a home at home. Vanvleet has a solid matchup as the Thunder rank 15th vs the point guard position. The Thunder also rank top rank 4th in terms of pace and without Lowry, VanVleet will see an increase in usage in this fast pace game. He showed us what he can do in this matchup on Wednesday, as he scored 35 fantasy points. I can see him do that again on Friday. And if he were to score 35, that would nearly 7x his $5,600 salary.

Game stacking has been great for us this week and I am going to continue game stacking on Friday. People will get most of their exposure to the Lakers vs Nets game because it has the highest over/under on the slate.I will have exposure to that game but I will pivot to the Toronto vs Oklahoma City game, which is my favorite game on the slate. If you recall on Wednesday, I told you guys if Kawhi Leonard or Kyle Lowry is out, the first player I put on my roster is Toronto Raptors power forward Pascal Siakam. Friday will be no different. Siakam gives us a high minutes floor as he has played 28 minutes or more in all of his games since January 19th but one. People will not think that a power forward will benefit when the starting point guard is out, but Siakam becomes the main facilitator of the second unit and he sees an increase in usage. The Thunder have struggled all year against wing players, as they rank 16th vs the power forward positon. He's viable for your cash games as he has a solid floor, but he has the upside to win you a large field tournament. In his last game showed us his ceiling when he scored 61.6 fantasy points in their OT win against this very Thunder team.

The Memphis Grizzles are dealing with a handful of injuries and their value plays will be chalky on Friday. Delon Wright, Bruno Caboclo and Justin Holiday all played 38 minutes or more in their last game on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets. Even with all those minutes played by those three players, my favorite play on FanDuel, as my drop score candidate, is shooting guard Tyler Dorsey. People will look at his 22 minutes in his last game and will fade him for these other players, but I believe he will be the biggest beneficiary because the Grizzles may be without Mike Conley, who is listed as doubtful for Friday's game. Dorsey will be in all of my lineups on FanDuel, again as my drop score candidate. We are currently projecting him to play 30 minutes and score 26.27 fantasy points. That would more than 8x his $3,700 salary. That would make him one of the top values on the slate and he also helps you pay up for some of the studs on the slate, and we have plenty of studs to pay up for!

One of my favorite GPP plays is Los Angeles Lakers center Javale McGee. We are currently projecting him to play 27 minutes and score 34.35 fantasy points. He is strictly a GPP game because his minutes are all over the place. He gets anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes. He has the best possible matchup for centers as the Brooklyn Nets rank 30th vs the position. On one hand, he has the upside to 7x his $5,600 price tag. On other hand, he may play 10 minutes and ruin some of your lineups. In your lineups where you stack the Lakers, make sure you have him in a fair amount of them. McGee will be low owned because we have some awesome center plays on this slate and he could score 45+ fantasy points to win you a large GPP tournament!

Friday's slate has a lot of injury news we are waiting on, somake sure you are around your phone by lock. I gave you some of my favorite plays, most are cheaper value plays. Now you can fit in some of these high priced studs. Who is your favorite stud on the slate? Let's win big...together!
