DraftKings & Fanduel NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: DFS Lineups 3/24/19

It's Sunday Funday, let's finish this week off strong and continue our winning streak through to next week! There are 8 NBA games on Sunday but I will be talking about the 4 game main slate. We have the game total of 1 of the games 4 games because we are waiting on a lot of injury news. That game being the San Antonio Spurs vs the Boston Celtics game, which has a 220 game total with a 2 point spread. This is a very interesting slate, i will be giving you dome of my favorite value plays because there are plenty of studs to pay up for.

DK Salary: $11,500 / FD Salary: $12,600

On small slates like this one on Sunday we need to take all the raw points possible. That being said, James Harden will be in 100 percent of my lineups. He has an awesome matchup as the Houston Rockets will be visiting the New Orleans Pelicans who rank rank 29^th vs the shooting guard position. Harden may come at a lower ownership because this game has a 9.5 point spread. We are projecting him to play 34 minutes and score 56.85 fantasy points. Harden's has the ceiling to score us 95 oints and he has showed us this multiple times this season and in this matchup vs the Pelicans rank 3^rd in terms of pace, he could score that for us and be the biggest contributor to your tournament winning lineups!

DK Salary: $6,200 / FD Salary: $6,500

The game I will have the most exposure to will be the Sacramento Kings vs the Los Angeles Lakers game that currently has no game total and a 3.5 point spread. Both teams rank in the top 10 in terms of pace, and we all know, more possessions equal more points! This game will be pretty chalky so we want to pivot off of the big names, I will have plenty of exposure to LeBron James but we have to fade him to differentiate our lineups. One of my favorite point per dollar plays in this game is $6,500 Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo. He is in a terrific spot in this high pace matchup but the Kings also rank 28^th in terms of DVP vs the point guard position, so Rondo has the potential to score 40+ in this high tempo matchup. He should only be a tournament play because of how much his minutes fluctuate. On Sunday we are projecting him to play 29 minutes and score 29.51 fantast points. Throw in the narrative that Rondo may have a little revenge on his mind playing his old team and he becomes one of my favorite plays!

DK Salary: $5,100 / FD Salary: $4,700

One of my favorite lower priced value plays on Sunday's slate is Houston rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon, again this game has a 9.5 point spread so I believe people will want to stay away so we may have Gordon at lower ownership. He is one of the rare cases where a player is cheaper on FanDuel than DraftKings. We need to take advantage of this on FanDuel because he is an awesome place at his $4,700 price tag. Many people would be surprised that Gordon has a 21.03 percent usage rate, because he plays with guys like James Harden and Chris Paul who are ball dominant guards. In his matchup on Sunday, we are projecting Gordon to score 24.95 fantasy points which would 6x his $4,700 price tag. But against the fast paced New Orleans Pelicans, he has the upside to score 35+ and be the top value play on the slate!

DK Salary: $4,900 / FD Salary: $5,100

In order to win smaller slates like today, we have to find the sub 10 percent owned player who crushes his value. That player could be Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson. The Pistons will be visiting the Golden State warriors in a game with a 12 point spread, in other words we are projecting the Pistons to get blowout. People will absolutely fade this game and most of the Pistons will come in lower owned, this is what makes Jackson an awesome play on Sunday. Do no, I repeat do not play him in your cash game lineups as I can see this game blowout. If the Pistons can keep this game close, we can see Jackson play 30 minutes and score 30+ fantasy points. The home team usually dictates the pace and that is phenomenal for Jackson as the Warriors rank 10^th in terms of pace. The Warriors rank 16^th vs the point guard position and play at a high pace, because of this we are projecting him to 5X him salary and score 27.05 fantasy points.

There is no clear cut way to approach this slate. I can see a game stack lineup win but all of the games are interesting, so I also understand people picking and choosing from all the teams.
