Happy Monday everyone! Yesterday's blowouts shaped the slate as I predicted, because of those blowouts I didn't have the best day on Sunday. Let's start this week off right, in the winnings! On Monday, we have a solid 9 game slate with most of them projected to be tightly contested. Make sure you are around your phone at lock, as there is a lot of injury news that will shape today's slate.

The Chicago Bulls have been dealing with a huge amount of injuries and they have had some of the best value on the slates when they play. Some of those players have been shooting guard Wayne Seldon, and point guards Shaquille Harrison and Ryan Arcidiacono. The player who I will have the most exposure to is Chicago Bulls shooting guard Walter Lemon Jr. He is a $3,500 potential drop score player, who played 31 minutes and scored 46.8 fantasy points. Lemon Jr will start the game on Monday, and he has an extremely high floor if he is going to play around 30 minutes like he did on Sunday. We are projecting him to play 34 minutes and score 34.01 which would almost 10X his minimum price tag. I will have Lemon Jr in almost 100 percent of my lineups as my potential drop score player, but with him starting, he has a solid floor so rostering him may allow us to roster 2 drop score players. That would allow us to pay up for 2 or 3 high priced studs on this slate, so the “stars and scrubs" approach is viable today.

Dallas Mavericks point guard Trey Burke, is the second low priced player who will be in most of my lineups. As soon as Luka Doncic was ruled out of Sunday's game for the Mavericks, I edited all my lineups and entered Trey Burke at the point guard position. That will be the case again on Monday if Doncic is ruled out again. On Sunday, Trey Burke played 30 minutes and scored 39.4 fantasy points. Like Lemon Jr, he has an extremely high floor if he gets the start. Burke is one of the rare cases of a player being cheaper on FanDuel than DraftKings, so we need to take advantage of that on FanDuel! We are currently projecting Burke to score 11 fantasy points in 11 minutes. If Burke gets the start again, he should be a lock in our lineups as he has the potential to score 35+ fantasy points and be one of the top values on the slate.

One of the studs I will be paying up for is Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker. He has been on a tear scoring 52 or more in 4 consecutive games. The Suns will be hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers in a game with a 220.5 game total and a 2.5 point spread. I am projecting this game to go over the total, as these two teams rank at the bottom of the league in terms of defensive rating. The Suns are dealing with many injuries, and they took a big blow their last game, as they lost their future star rookie center, Deandre Ayton to an ankle injury. Booker already has a massive 38.61 percent usage rate and that will see an increase with Ayton out. If that wasn't enough to sell you on Booker, this will. He also has a terrific matchup as the Cavs rank 27th vs the shooting guard position. Booker will see extra usage in a high scoring game, with a close spread. He has the upside to score us 60+ fantasy points and be the highest scorer on the slate!

Another lower priced player with a solid floor is Utah Jazz small forward Jae Crowder. The Utah Jazz will be hosting the Charlotte Hornets in a game with a solid 218.5 game total. Crowder is strictly a GPP play because of the blowout risk in this game as it has 11.5 point spread. The Jazz will be without power forward Derrick Favors and Crowder may see some extra run. On the season Crowder has a solid minutes floor as he is averaging 27.5 minutes a game. We are projecting Crowder to play 30 minutes because of the Favors injury. He has a solid points floor also as we are projecting him to score 25.57 fantasy points. He will see an increase in usage, he will grab us a few more rebounds, and he contributes in all stats across the board. Crowder has the upside to score 35+ fantasy points and be a key contributor to your tournament wining lineup!

There are many centers with great matchups on Monday, but my favorite price per dollar play is New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson. He is now the starting lineup for Deandre Jordan who did not play on Saturday. Robinson should have been starting long ago, but I will not get into that now. He is now starting for the Knicks and any time he gets guaranteed minutes he is a great play. In his last two games he has played 30 or minutes and he has scored 45 or more points in both games. He is an elite rebounder and he may also be the best shot blocker in the league. He has gotten two or more blocks in every game he has played in since February 3rd. He has an extremely high floor and ceiling making him a good option in both cash games and tournaments. He has an awesome matchup against the Chicago Bulls who rank 25th in terms of DVP against the center position. In this awesome matchup he has the upside to score us 45+ fantasy points, we should have a lot of exposure to him!

This slate is a very interesting one as we have a lot of injury news we are waiting on. I gave you some of my favorite plays, all from different price ranges. I gave you two low priced players who can help you fit in your favorite high price stud. Who is your favorite stud on Monday's slate? Let's win big…together!
