NBA Sports Betting Quick Links
Six games for tonight's slate and the highest total belongs to Memphis-Dallas. All of these totals are over 225 so there isn't one I would avoid but the OKC-Miami game looks to be the least thrilling for fantasy purposes. The one blowout concern tonight is Utah and Charlotte, as the Jazz are 13-point favorites. Anthony Davis is out tonight as is Victor Oladipo. Kristaps Porzingis is questionable now, which would be major news to monitor.
Backcourt
John Wall - $8,000 - PG
The pay-up options of Luka Doncic and Damian Lillard are certainly guys to get exposure to, as they are likely going to be top-5 in scoring when the night is over. However, looking a little bit cheaper, Wall has taken 24, 26, and 20 shots over the last three games. He has scored 25+ in three straight and is also tacking on assists with 22 in that span. The Price has jumped $1,000 in a week but Wall has 50+ fantasy point upside for $8,000.
Jordan Clarkson - $6,100 - PG/SG
Jordan Clarkson has a strong matchup against the Hornets tonight and ceiling has a 36 fantasy point ceiling over the last ten games. He is shooting 45% from the field and projected for 1.24 FPPM. Mike Conley continues to be out and the Jazz is relying on Clarkson's scoring during this massive run they have been on. For $6,100 this is a solid price against a weaker Hornets defense.
Kendrick Nunn - $5,700 - PG
This is another mid-range option with some upside. Kendrick Nunn should see plenty of minutes tonight as the Miami rotation is a bit hindered with backcourt injuries. Either way, he has been running well and gets a good matchup against the Thunder. They rank 21st against point guards. Points per dollar, Nunn has the potential to be one of the top plays in this department.
Frontcourt
Montrezl Harrell - $5,800 - C
Montrezl Harrell continues to be kind of a boom or bust guy. There are some intriguing center options but if all of these guys land more around their season average tonight, you won't be thrilled for the $7,000+ price tag for most of them. Harrell has a 32 fantasy point ceiling over the last ten games and projects for over 25 tonight. I like the matchup with the Wizards not being able to throw defensive bodies in the frontcourt.
Jae Crowder - $5,000 - PF
Jae Crowder is cheaper exposure to the Phoenix side and has a 30+ fantasy point ceiling in the last ten games. Portland ranks 26th against power forwards and is bottom ten in fantasy points allowed to the position. Phoenix has a 116 team total tonight and Crowder is cheaper exposure to it. I do like Ayton as well against a lackluster frontcourt but he is one of those names where the floor is meh for his price tag.
Gordon Hayward - $7,100 - SF/PF
For this game to stay close, Gordon Hayward is going to need a strong game and he returns to Utah tonight. He already had a strong game against them and Hayward's ceiling is back now that he is a higher volume guy in Charlotte. The forward position has LeBron James and Jimmy Butler but there isn't much beyond them to get really excited about. If people write off this game due to the blowout we should get some lower ownership.
