With guys like Russell Westbrook and James Harden dropping 60+ fantasy point games, they will be staples in the lineups for many of us. But... To grab those players, value is crucial in NBA, just like any other DFS sport. Value opens up through injuries, site pricing, and rotational changes. We are staying on top of that for you here, talking about the best value at each position.

Point Guard

Derrick Rose, New York Knicks ($6,500 FD - $5,700 DK)

Derrick Rose is still in this price range of being too cheap for his usage and production. He is averaging 19-4-4 in the last ten games, with a 24.3% usage rate. He draws a Charlotte defense that is middle of the road at allowing fantasy points to opposing point guards. The Knicks have a 106 team total tonight, and when totals are around the 215 mark, Rose has averaged over 30 fantasy points per game. The DraftKings price tag is what I am most intrigued with, as it always seems to be down. FanDuel he has decent value in comparison to the other point guard names. Rose is playable in all formats for me tonight.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 31.35 - DraftKings: 34.98

Honorable Mentions: Patrick Beverley, Marcus Smart

Shooting Guard

Norman Powell, Toronto Raptors ($4,200 FD - $4,600 DK)

If DeMar DeRozan is out again tonight, Norman Powell jumps into the starting role. He has seen a 23% usage rate in two games DeRozan has missed this year, and averaged 18-4-2. Powell opens up a lot of room for salary, so here's hoping to DeRozan taking another night off. The matchup is also on the plus side, as Milwaukee is allowing the eighth most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards. If DeRozan does play, Marcus Smart and Garrett Temple become the values at the position next in line. Smart is seeing 30+ minutes with Avery Bradley out, and the same goes for Temple with Rudy Gay out.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 28.90 - DraftKings: 30.94

Honorable Mentions: Garrett Temple, Marcus Smart

Small Forward

Jeff Green, Orlando Magic ($3,900 FD - $4,000 DK)

There are essentially three small forwards in this game that fall into the value category. Both teams struggle against the position, so Jae Crowder and Aaron Gordon are in play for me tonight as well. Crowder is my preference, but Jeff Green is much cheaper. He started at shooting guard last time out, which Boston has been allowing the second most fantasy points per game to in the last ten games. You can say the Avery Bradley injury is hurting them on the defensive side. Green has 25+ minutes in each of the last three games, and double-digit shot attempts in each of the last four. He is also playing his former club, so he might have a little extra giddy-up for this one.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 24.32 - DraftKings: 26.88

Honorable Mentions: Aaron Gordon, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Robert Covington (FD), Jae Crowder

Power Forward

Thaddeus Young, Indiana Pacers ($5,600 FD - $5,700 DK)

With the Philly front court back tonight, Nerlens Noel is off the table for me. Thaddeus Young is around a similar price range on DraftKings, and a little more expensive than him on FanDuel. Young is averaging over 25 fantasy points per game over the last ten games, and his defensive stats give him a decent floor. Sacramento is allowing the 12th most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards this year, and the third most steals per game.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 29.58 - DraftKings: 31.32

Honorable Mentions: Ryan Anderson, Zach Randolph

Center

Guillermo Hernangomez, New York Knicks ($4,700 FD - $3,900 DK)

Well... My buddy Rob wore me down a little bit with the Guillermo Hernangomez hype train, and here I am. He is super cheap on both sites, but a very solid play on DraftKings, especially since you can roster two centers. He has 24 rebounds in the last two games, and has seen 24 minutes in back-to-back games. When given minutes, Hernangomez has been an excellent FPPM player. He has 30+ fantasy point games in each of the last two, and if the minutes are there again, he should dominate a weak front court. Charlotte is allowing the seventh most fantasy points per game to opposing centers this season. Paying down at center is a GPP move for me today, so i won't be looking at him in cash games.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 22.35 - DraftKings: 25.20

Honorable Mentions: Greg Monroe (GPP)
