With guys like Russell Westbrook and James Harden dropping 60+ fantasy point games, they will be staples in the lineups for many of us. But... To grab those players, value is crucial in NBA, just like any other DFS sport. Value opens up through injuries, site pricing, and rotational changes. We are staying on top of that for you here, talking about the best value at each position.

Point Guard

Jameer Nelson, Denver Nuggets ($4,700 FD - $5,300 DK)

Jameer Nelson continues to be cheaply priced across the industry, who has been picking up minutes for the injured Emmanuel Mudiay. In four games Mudiay has missed this season, Nelson is averaging over 30 minutes, and a 12-2-6-1 line. He posted a big game against Phoenix, which is no surprise given the pace of play and defense, and I expect similar results again. He will be a popular play tonight, but not one I am really looking to fade. Denver-Phoenix has a monster 232 total, and certainly one you want exposure to. Despite no Nikola Jokic, Denver sits with a team total north of 110.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 26.04 - DraftKings: 30.07

Honorable Mentions: Darren Collison, Marcus Smart

Shooting Guard

Jamal Crawford, Los Angeles Clippers ($4,900 FD - $4,500 DK)

Out of the value shooting guards, Jamal Crawford has the most upside. Golden State sit as 12 point favorites, and much like Vegas, I am not giving the Clippers much of a shot either. Crawford remains cheap, so I don't mind using him, especially given his offense will be needed to keep pace with the Warriors. Crawford has a 22% usage rate with Paul this season, and a 28% usage rate in the 11 games Paul has missed. He is averaging 16-2-4 in that span. I expect Rivers, Griffin, and Crawford to suck up most of the usage.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 21.46 - DraftKings: 24.36

Honorable Mentions: Gary Harris, Marcus Smart

Small Forward

Wilson Chandler, Denver Nuggets ($5,700 FD - $5,800 DK)

Nikola Jokic is out, which bums myself and many other out. Mike Malone is a character, and recently learned Jokic deserves 30+ minutes on a nightly basis. I can't say that for the other Denver bigs, who we will be playing Russian Roulette with. Wilson Chandler is your safest bet to pick up more usage and minutes with Jokic out. Chandler will easily slide into the four, while we should see some Darrell Arthur and Kenneth Faried at the five. As mentioned earlier with Nelson, this is a monster total, and one you want to get yourself some exposure to. Chandler has an excellent price on both sites, and is on the safer side for minutes.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 27.00 - DraftKings: 29.78

Honorable Mentions: Jae Crowder, T.J. Warren, P.J. Tucker

Power Forward

Gorgui Dieng, Minnesota Timberwolves ($5,700 FD - $5,700 DK)

Minnesota gets Brooklyn tonight, which is easily the most enticing matchup in all of DFS right now. They play with a high pace, struggle rebounding, and are horrendous against each position. Gorgui Dieng saw a dip in minutes, but has been above 30 in each of the last two games. Brooklyn ranks 28th in rebounding, and allow the third most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards. Dieng is the cheapest of the Minnesota starters, and is in play on a rather weak night at the position.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 28.80 - DraftKings: 31.36

Honorable Mentions: Kenneth Faried, James Johnson

Center

Willie Reed, Miami Heat ($4,300 FD - $4,800 DK)

Hassan Whiteside is questionable for tonight's game, and missed last night's against Chicago. I have to credit DraftKings for being so quick on their pricing too. Willie Reed had himself a game. He played 37 minutes last night, posting a 20-5-1 line, with a steal. Andre Drummond is just a big body, and not really known for his ability to shut down opponents. Detroit ranks 26th in defensive efficiency against opposing centers. Keep an eye on Whiteside as the day goes on. If he plays, it's easier to just pay up for the studs.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 30.00 - DraftKings: 31.50

Honorable Mentions: Greg Monroe (GPP), Tyson Chandler
