With guys like Russell Westbrook and James Harden dropping 60+ fantasy point games, they will be staples in the lineups for many of us. But... To grab those players, value is crucial in NBA, just like any other DFS sport. Value opens up through injuries, site pricing, and rotational changes. We are staying on top of that for you here, talking about the best value at each position.

Point Guard

T.J. McConnell, Philadelphia 76ers ($5,900 FD - $5,300 DK)

T.J. McConnell has been a great addition for Philadelphia, and was a warrior at the University of Arizona. He is a playmaking point guard, and not much of a scorer, but that's okay. He is averaging eight assists per game in the last ten, to go along with seven points, four rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game. Chicago is a great matchup for point guards, as they are in a state of disarray, but also allow the eighth most fantasy points per game. McConnell is really the only value at point guard I am liking at the moment. His minutes have been pretty consistent, averaging 30 over the last ten.

Honorable Mentions: Patrick Beverley

Shooting Guard

Norman Powell, Toronto Raptors ($4,900 FD - $5,600 DK)

We are down this road again, as DeMar DeRozan enters the slate with a questionable tag. Although he seems closer to the doubtful side. If he is out, we can fire up Norman Powell again, as well as Kyle Lowry as the elite point guard option. The Magic are allowing the fourth most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards in the last ten games, which has a lot to do with their backcourt injuries. In the last three games DeRozan has missed, Powell has averaged 18-5-1, while shooting 46% from the field. He has also seen a 24% usage rate in that span.

Small Forward

C.J. Miles, Indiana Pacers ($4,100 FD - $4,000 DK)

I originally had Sam Dekker in here, but Eric Gordon is due back against the Pacers. If he has a setback, I do like Dekker quite a bit for value. He has been the main beneficiary of Gordon's absence. As of now, we will settle for C.J. Miles, who has been logging starter's minutes of late, averaging 28 in the last six games. He is a bit scoring dependent, but this is a good spot for him against Houston. The Rockets allow the third most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards, and allow the third most three-pointers made. Miles went 6-9 from three against the Kings, and will hope for similar success.

Power Forward

Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers ($4,700 FD - $6,300 DK)

Joel Embiid is ruled out already tonight for rest, and it is worth noting against Houston, Nerlens Noel played the minutes behind him over Jahlil Okafor. Whether Okafor was completely healthy or not is something we don't know. Noel is certainly a better player than Okafor, and is better on the defensive side. Noel should be drawing the start again, but even if Okafor does, I have more interest in Noel. The former Wildcat posted two 30+ fantasy point games with Okafor/Embiid out, and saw 20 minutes when Embiid was back, posting 20+ fantasy points.

Honorable Mentions: Thaddeus Young, Ryan Anderson, David Lee

Center

Marcin Gortat, Washington Wizards ($6,400 FD - $5,800 DK)

Marcin Gortat is the safest of the cheaper centers tonight, and gets a plus matchup against New Orleans. The Pelicans rank 23rd in defensive efficiency, 29th in rebounding, and allow the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. Gortat is averaging 30 minutes per game over the last ten, and over 25 fantasy points per game. There has been a little bit of a drop off, but this matchup really sets him up for a high floor, and also a decent ceiling for his price.

Honorable Mentions: Clint Capela, Jonas Valanciunas
