Hello everyone and welcome to the Value Plays for tonight's NBA contests on November 23rd, 2016. Today we have ourselves a massive 14 game slate. The best part about today is if you like smaller slates you can actually break it up into an early and late slate. I will likely be playing all three slates today.

All of the values Wednesday except for Vince Carter, but it was once again the elite options I used with them that stunk it up. I am looking at you Hassan Whiteside, Andrew Wiggins, and Karl Anthony Towns.

Either way today we have literally everyone playing so it will be a great day for stars and you will also be needing some much needed value plays as well. The day after Thanksgiving for me is typically busy getting a Christmas Tree, decorating eating leftovers, playing DFS and with the ids, leftovers and perhaps a little online shopping. I am sure many of you will be doing the same so let's get into it!

Injuries as always need to be monitored as well throughout the day. Often times plays may seem perfect here in the early am, but a scratch or rest day can open up even more fantastic value.

Keep close tabs on this all the way up to tip off and be ready to make some swaps as needed throughout the day.

Point Guard

Elfrid Payton, Orlando vs Washington ($5,800 FD/$5,800 DK)

Payton has been one of my favorite plays in DFS night in and out. Elfrid has been averaging 25.9 DK points this season in 30 minutes. He has had a few duds with under 15 fantasy points over his last 8 games. This should be a lower scoring affair at home but Payton is one of the few Magic who has a safe minutes lock. If you don't like low vegas line games consider my next option instead. Payton is averaging over a point a minute and may not have a high ceiling tonight facing John Wall, but he has a safe floor.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 28.48 DraftKings: 32.32

Emmanuel Mudiay, Denver Nuggets vs OKC ($6,100 FD/$5,600 DK)

As I write this the Vegas line isn't out but Mudiay is a very risk/reward point guard and tonight is a game with plenty of upside. Russell Westbrook is an elite player but his defense isn't always as dominant. The Thunder rank 21st in DvP and are allowing 51+ FP's to the point guard position. Mudiay's usage is at 15% and just under a Fantasy point a minute with 0.99 so he makes an intriguing value at point tonight.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 28.38 DraftKings: 32.67

Shooting Guard

Darren Collison, Sacramento vs Houston ($6,100 FD/$5,600 DK)

Collison returns and for good reason. His price is still pretty low and his production has been as consistent and safe as it comes. The Rockets are 5th in DvP against the shooting guard position, but they allow 51 points to the position and Collison has only scored less than 25 DK points once over his last 6. Collison has been getting minutes and averaging 0.96 FPPM makes him a great option tonight. Keep in mind Collison is only PG eligible on FanDuel.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 28.05 DraftKings: 31.68

Monta Ellis, Indiana vs Brooklyn ($5,200 FD/$5,200 DK)

Ellis makes another nice value in what is one of the highest projected scores of the night. The Pacers are projected to put up 112 points and Brooklyn is ranked 24th in DvP with a 0.84 FPPM average. He is still adjusting to the new team but he is playing 33 minutes a game and there are some injuries still in the Pacers so his role should continue to expand.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 24.75 DraftKings: 27.72

Small Forward

Robert Covington, Philadelphia vs Chicago ($4,400 FD/$4,000 DK)

Covington finally had his big game of the season, and although this feels like a chasing points situation Covington is still in a good spot here. 30 minutes of court time and a 0.85 FPPM once again Make Covington a very cheap and somewhat safe play today. His usage rate of 9.45 leaves some to be desired but when a player like Joel Embiid is out that should spread to the rest of the Sixers.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 22.80 DraftKings: 25.50

P.J. Tucker, Phoenix vs Minnesota ($3,800 FD/$3,700 DK)

Tucker is dirt cheap option and in a pretty good spot tonight. He may actually get a start tonight as well which would be a nice boost. The Wolves have a DvP of 30 against the small forward position and Tucker is playing 29 minutes off the bench. At this price and a 0.8 fantasy points a minutes he is a relatively safe play tonight. Tucker tends to fill the stat sheet with peripheral stats so he if he starts and he gets some baskets he can meet 5x easily.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 21.17 DraftKings: 23.20

Power Forward

Terrence Jones, New Orleans @ Portland ($5,100 FD/$5,800 DK)

Jones has been playing so well off the bench, or alongside Anthony Davis and word is he may get the start tonight in Portland. If this is the case he needs to be in your lineups tonight. Best part is his price is more than fair. The Blazers DvP is 18th and allowing 46.1 DK points to the position. Any time you can get a player who averages 1.03 FPPM and is likely to play more than his average of 28 minutes a night sign me up!

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 24.70 DraftKings: 26.78

Center

Mason Plumlee, Portland vs New Orleans ($5,300 FD/$5,400 DK)

Plumlee is in a fantastic spot facing the Pelicans who are 30th in DvP and allowing 52.9 points to Centers this season. There are so many Centers tonight to choose from but if you are looking to go cheap here Plumlee is a solid option. This is also a game where the Blazers are projected to score 111.5 and Plumlee is producing 1.09 FPPM. He is projected to produce a 6X in value too.

DFC Projection: FanDuel: 31.20 DraftKings: 32.70
