Nailing value is an important part of any sport in DFS, but NBA seems to have a much higher level of importance. Value varies from slate-to-slate, and also value can open and close throughout the day. Staying on top of injury news even after this article is published is important, but updates will be made as the day goes on. Between the major fantasy sites, salaries can be egregious on one site, and more appropriate on the other. Below we examine rotations, injuries, and underpriced players that lead to being great values for a slate.

Guards

With Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro out against Cleveland tonight, that gives us two options in the backcourt to use. Goran Dragic and Kendrick Nunn. Both project to be strong points per dollar plays tonight. Dragic has seen a 28% usage rate with them off the court, averaging 1.17 FPPM. Nunn has seen a 24% usage rate and has averaged 0.93 FPPM. Both project for over 25 fantasy points tonight, and over five Pts/$1k. Darius Garland for the Cavaliers is a cheap option on the other side of this one, projected for over 20 fantasy points.

There are a handful of shooting guards in good spots tonight, and some are on the cheaper side. Josh Richardson gets a slight bump in usage without Ben Simmons on the court, and projects for 5.8 Pts/$1k. He also gets the advantage of facing a rather weak Atlanta defense. His teammate Alec Burks is on the cheaper side, and will handle some of the point guard duties while Simmons gets his back injury in order.

Lou Williams is in a great spot tonight against Memphis, and will be a better play if Paul George takes a seat. Williams projects for over Pts/$1k on both sites, and has 40+ fantasy point upside and a pretty stable floor as well. Malik Beasley is still rather cheap, and projects for over 25 fantasy points tonight. He has been balling in Minnesota, and Towns being out opens some usage again.

Forwards

Jae Crowder is one of the higher Pts/$1k projected, who has been playing well in Miami. Cleveland struggles on the defensive side and in turnovers, which is where Crowder can also make his mark. If you want some cheaper exposure to the Rockets, Danuel House and Eric Gordon are both on the cheaper side, and are over the 4.5 Pts/$1k mark. The Knicks are certainly a defense we can target, and the Rockets have a 121 implied total.

Both Utah small forwards, Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic are going to be overlooked, but project for over five Pts/$1k. They get Phoenix tonight, who we can gladly target. Bogdanovic projects for 19.7 real points and over 25 fantasy points tonight.

Rui Hachimura continues to hover around the $5,000 mark and is a reliable option who should be around the 25 fantasy point mark tonight. Davis Bertans has some upside as well, but isn't quite as safe. Al Horford is $4,900 on FD, and $4,500 on DK, and has the highest Pts/$1k. Not sure I fully trust it, but he is worth a look at that price. Brandon Clarke and Naz Reid are both cheap forward options with good upside. I like looking there in any format.

Center

Gorgui Dieng will get some minutes in Memphis with Jaren Jackson out, and is someone to keep an eye on if you need some deeper value. Washington is resting Thomas Bryant tonight, and Moritz Wagner is a GPP option to consider. It is hard to look at these names on FD, where I would much rather pay up at the position, but they can work their way into a DK lineup with all the multi-position eligibiility and roster construction.
