In this segment, I'll be breaking down players who are seeing a significant increase or decrease in minutes due to new (or overlooked) circumstances. I'll also be looking at how injuries and/or trades have affected these players. Each player's situation is unique, and I'll help you find the matchups and scenarios to exploit or avoid due to each player's change in court time. Each player will have be tagged with “TARGET", “MONITOR", or “AVOID". For today's article, I'll be focusing on DraftKings scoring.

Zaza Pachullia – (C) Milwaukee Bucks - TARGET

Zaza has been a tremendous producer down low for the Bucks over the past few weeks. In his last 7 games, he is averaging 28.1 MPG and 28.7 FPPG, which equates to 1.02 FPPM. His minutes are generally the biggest concern, but when Milwaukee faces bigger frontcourts, Zaza's court time remains safe, provided he stays out of foul trouble. He has played 71 minutes over his last two games, including 40 in a triple overtime game against Brooklyn. Continue to target Zaza as a punt play with upside.

Omri Casspi – (SF) Sacramento Kings– TARGET

George Karl's transisiton of Rudy Gay to PF has opened the door for Casspi as the starter at SF. While he has never been a huge FPPM producer (0.78 over his last 4), his minutes have been solidified for the time being, as he has played 32+ minutes in 3 of his last 4 games. He makes for a great value play at just $3,600 on DraftKings tonight. He likely won't set the world on fire, but he makes for a solid bet to hit value.

Isaiah Canaan – (PG) Philadelphia 76ers – AVOID

With the improved play of Ish Smith, Canaan has taken a backseat in the pecking order for the 76ers. He is averaging just 20.6 MPG over his last 3 contests, a far cry from the 31 MPG he averaged over his previous 7 games. His 0.74 FPPM average is less than ideal, and now having minutes concerns takes him out of play completely for me, despite a bargain bin price of $4,000.

Danny Green – (SG) San Antonio Spurs – TARGET

While many DFS players are hesitant to roster Spurs players, Green looks to be the one player you can rely on right now. With Manu Ginobili sidelined, he has averaged 35.33 MPG and has a solid average of 0.99 FPPM during his 3-game absence. While Manu is expected to return to action tonight, I anticipate that he will be eased back into action, and Marco Belinelli will be the one seeing his minutes decrease. Continue to target Green at a weak SG position.
