High Priced Players
Karl-Anthony Town (C), Minnesota Timberwolves
Opponent | Minutes | Fantasy Points Per Minute | DVP | Usage Rate | Opposing Fantasy Points Allowed | Vegas Team Total | Projection (FD/DK) |
@ Celtics | 38 | 1.28 | 25 | 28.42 | 51.4 | 102 | 45.2/48.6 |
Salary: FD: $10,800 / DK: $10,900
James Harden might take a lot of the ownership away from higher priced guys, and also the fact this position is loaded with value centers. This game should be much more competitive, and Karl-Anthony Towns is in a great spot. Boston ranks 27th in rebounding, and allow the 11th most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. Towns dropped the hammer on Boston earlier this season, going for 27 points and 18 boards. Pairing towns with a cheaper center on DraftKings is a plus move tonight.
Kawhi Leonard (SF), San Antonio Spurs
Opponent | Minutes | Fantasy Points Per Minute | DVP | Usage Rate | Opposing Fantasy Points Allowed | Vegas Team Total | Projection (FD/DK) |
Trail Blazers | 35 | 1.19 | 14 | 30.96 | 42.9 | 109 | 38.5/41.65 |
Salary: FD: $9,400 / DK: $9,800
Even with LaMarcus Aldridge back in the lineup, Kawhi Leonard has shown immense upside over the last month or so. He has the highest usage rate among small forwards on the slate, and with a 109 total in San Antonio, Leonard should be primed for a big outing. He is averaging around 50 fantasy points per game over the last five games, and his peripheral numbers are always an added bonus for Leonard. With the amount of value on tonight's slate, you should have no problem fitting in two high-priced studs.
Mid-Priced Players
Mike Conley (PG), Memphis Grizzlies
Opponent | Minutes | Fantasy Points Per Minute | DVP | Usage Rate | Opposing Fantasy Points Allowed | Vegas Team Total | Projection (FD/DK) |
@ Bulls | 36 | 1.12 | 21 | 24.71 | 48.5 | 102 | 35.6/40.3 |
Salary: FD $8,000 / DK: $7,600
Mike Conley always tends to drive lower ownership than he should. Conley is playing heavy minutes of late, and averaging 20-2-6 over the last five games, with over two steals per game alongside that. The Bulls rotating point guard play has landed on Rajon Rondo, who is not known for his defense. The Bulls have already been dreadful against point guards in fantasy points allowed, but the Bulls have allowed the third most fantasy points per game over the last ten games. With Ricky Rubio near in price, Conley is a good swerve or pairing with him.
Khris Middleton (SF), Milwaukee Bucks
Opponent | Minutes | Fantasy Points Per Minute | DVP | Usage Rate | Opposing Fantasy Points Allowed | Vegas Team Total | Projection (FD/DK) |
@ Clippers | 33 | 0.93 | 9 | 22.75 | 37.7 | 101 | 27.7/30.6 |
Salary: FD: $6,300 / DK: $6,100
After a couple of down games, Khris Middleton is off the radar of many. Middleton's minutes remain safe, averaging over 30 in the last ten games. The Clippers have allowed the eighth most fantasy points to small forwards, and the seventh most over the last ten games. Middleton is in a good spot, and should carry low ownership. His price has also dropped a bit on DraftKings, making him even more playable.
Low-Priced Players
Ivica Zubac (C), Los Angeles Lakers
Opponent | Minutes | Fantasy Points Per Minute | DVP | Usage Rate | Opposing Fantasy Points Allowed | Vegas Team Total | Projection (FD/DK) |
@ Rockets | 29 | 1.07 | 27 | 21.95 | 48.3 | 109 | 29.5/31.3 |
Salary: FD: $4,900 / DK: $5,300
Ownership won't be on your side, but the possible Ivica Zubac points per dollar return is a tough one to avoid. He will be starting, but minutes are still on the inconsistent side. It was encouraging to see him play 30 minutes against Denver. With Los Angeles focusing on the youth side of things from now on, he will be a find option moving forward. The Rockets allow the third most fantasy points per game to opposing point centers this season. Zubac should be able to come through with another solid game. Clint Capela is also in a good spot, and should draw lower ownership.
Buddy Hield (SG), Sacramento Kings
Opponent | Minutes | Fantasy Points Per Minute | DVP | Usage Rate | Opposing Fantasy Points Allowed | Vegas Team Total | Projection (FD/DK) |
@ Suns | 31 | 0.86 | 23 | 23.9 | 43.3 | 107 | 23.8/26.5 |
Salary: FD: $4,600 / DK: $4,600
Jeremy Lamb is the chalk shooting guard tonight, and should be. Pairing him with a Buddy Hield is an intriguing salary relief play, to help pay up at other spots. Hield has seen 30 or more minutes in a crowded backcourt in the last three games. An uptempo matchup in Phoenix makes this one a fun one on both sides. The Suns rank 23rd against opposing shooting guards, and allow the eighth highest FG%. Sacramento has a 107 total, which is the sixth highest on the slate.
