The Clippers dropped a midnight nugget, resting Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordon for tonight's game. Now that opens the door for Mo Speights to get some run, but now we are all wondering if the injury prone, Chris Paul, will sit as well. I am reserving him for tournaments, due to the uncertainty he brings. If he sees a full dose of minutes, usage will shoot up with Griffin off the floor. Paul has seen an increase in usage with Griffin off the floor, and gets a 0.22 FPPM bump as well. The Nuggets are also one of the worst defending teams against point guards, adding to the CP3 show that may or may not happen.

Nikola Jokic (PF/C), Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets are four point favorites, and instead of seeing Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan in the front court, Nikola Jokic will draw guys like Mo Speights and Luc Mbah a Moute. Yeah, I like Jokic. He has been dominating of late, yet has been pulled early due to recent blowouts. He has averaged 24 minutes against the Clippers in three games this season, averaging right around 35 fantasy points. If he can get up into the 30's, Jokic can show off his ceiling yet again.

Mid-Priced Players

Elfrid Payton has been a triple-double machine, and can certainly sway tournaments one way or the other. Payton is averaging 13-9-11 over the last five games, and is seeing 33 minutes per game. Vegas isn't predicting a close game, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a blowout as well. But in tournaments, we start to put the blowouts aside a bit. If this one stays close, it will likely come at the hands of Payton dominating the game again. Payton has the upside, and has been consistent of late. Yet, over a larger sample size, we have seen plenty of letdown games as well.

Nets

Salary: FD: $6,000 / DK: $6,200

Guillermo Hernangómez will be a popular option, but can exceed value at a high rate. He gets a great matchup against the Nets, who rank 28th against centers, and allow the fifth most fantasy points per game. They also rank 28th in rebounding. We have seen that the FPPM is there for Hernangomez, and the minutes should be safe again with a lack of depth at center, and also Kristaps Porzingis doubtful. It is really hard to pass him up over on FanDuel, and I am overlooking high ownership for good points per dollar return.

Low-Priced Players

The Nets rotation is an awful one to try and figure out. With Sean Kilpatrick out, that does open up some minutes. I prefer Caris LeVert, who is coming off back to back strong games. LeVert isn't shooting a ton, but is shooting 63% from the field over the last five games, and 46% from three. If he can notch those steals like he has been, that would add to it. The Knicks struggle against defending SF/SF, ranking bottom ten in fantasy points allowed.

Clippers

350.90721.437,711228.7/31.5

Salary: FD: $5,300 / DK: $5,300

Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler are out tonight, which opens up some room for Will Barton to come in and get some minutes. With a 112 total, I am loving this Denver team as always. Barton played 30 minutes last time out, posting over 30 fantasy points. We know about Barton by now, his value is all dependent on injuries in front of him. Barton has seen a 2% bump in usage with those guys off the floor. Barton has a ton of upside for the price.
