Vegas Notes

- After a small Monday slate, we are back with a hefty eight game slate. There are some blowout concerns, but none that scare me away. Thunder are favored by 11 points, and the Pacers are favored by 10.

- Wolves-Thunder is your highest game total of the night, as Oklahoma City come in as your highest projected scorers.

- No real Vegas duds are projected for once, so all eight games are in play!

Jrue Holiday is back to playing bigger minutes, as he has seen 30 or more minutes in three of the last four games. He is averaging 19-4-5, with two steals per game in the last four games. He now gets a matchup against the Lakers, who have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards. If Anthony Davis sits tonight, there will be plenty more shots for him to take, but he is not a risky play like Ryan Anderson. Holiday will still see his. Points-per-dollar you can't beat Holiday tonight, and he will be a staple in my cash games.

James Harden is more reserved for GPP's tonight, as Jimmy Butler comes in a bit cheaper, and has a solid cash game floor. He is averaging 27-6-4 in the last six games, shooting 49% from the field. Chicago is in the midst of a tough stretch in the schedule, but we can always lean on Jimmy Minutes. His usage rate is on the rise, alongside his assist numbers. Milwaukee has allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards in the last ten games. Milwaukee is a poor team defense, and Chicago's 103 Vegas total on the second night of a back-to-back proves that.

Small forward is stacked tonight, but LeBron James is the clear number one in cash games for me. Cleveland will be involved in a close high scoring game against Dallas, who have no defender to matchup with James. Even with the full arsenal back in Cleveland, James is averaging 26-6-7 in the last five games, shooting a whopping 58% from the field. Maybe he saw the article of his horrendous shooting from outside and started to deliver, who knows. I will be spending the little extra to grab James over guys like Durant, Leonard, and George in cash.

With Mike Conley on the doubtful side, expect the Memphis value train to be rolling again, starting with Zach Randolph. The 6th man role has done wonders for his fantasy production of late, averaging 19-2-9, with two blocks+steals per game in the last five. 25-28 minutes is where you will find him if he is having an average game, but if he is going off, look for Memphis to roll with him for as much as he can handle. He gets another great matchup to exploit, as Houston has allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing PF.

Salary: FD: $7,600 DK: $6,600

I love Greg Monroe's DK price tonight, while on FanDuel I am more likely to pay down a bit. Monroe gets a Chicago defense that is not what they once were, allowing the 5th most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. Monroe is averaging 17-2-10 in the last five games. The minutes have started to steady out around 28-29 of late, but I am not too concerned given his 1.13 fantasy points per minute. He is a great cash game option who seems to always flirt with 30-35 fantasy points.

Value Plays

Mario Chalmers (PG - MEM) FD: $5,000 DK: $5,900

This all depends on Mike Conley's status, but he is closer to doubtful tonight. Mario Chalmers and Tony Allen will remain great value options, against a bad Houston defense. Chalmers is averaging 14-5-4 in the last five games, while Allen is averaging 11-1-7, with two steals per game.

Devin Booker (SG - PHX) FD: $3,900 DK: $4,900

Devin Booker is averaging 33 minutes per game in the last four, and has taken on a bigger role in the offense. In those four games, he is averaging 16-2-5, which is about 30 DK points per game. Indiana has allowed the 12th most fantasy points per game to opposing SG, and for a $3,900 punt play on FD, he is a great value option.

Ryan Anderson (PF - NO) FD: $5,500 DK: $6,500

I am hoping to find out if Anthony Davis will sit before lineup lock, but I know I am asking a lot. I am going to believe New Orleans will be on the cautious side, especially against the Lakers. Anderson would slide into the starting role, and play well over 30 minutes. L.A. has allowed the 13th most fantasy points per game to opposing PF. They also rank 29th in rebound differential.
