Vegas Notes

- Just a five game late slate tonight, and there are two blowout concerns. Toronto sit as 9.5 point favorites, and Detroit sits as 11.5 point favorites.

- The Warriors are 7 point favorites, with a whopping 223 game total. Get some exposure on both sides.

- Heat-Jazz both have team totals under 93, and both teams are stout defensively, and play at a very slow pace. I am staying away if I can.

Projection

Warriors361.1021.219.24810839.6

Salary: FD: $8,300 DK: $8,400

The last matchup between these two teams was a rough one. DeMarcus Cousins got tossed early, and Rajon Rondo was in very early foul trouble, which led to a non-surprising blowout. In their first matchup, the Kings were a competitive bunch, and in fact they are in contention for the 7th and 8th seed in the west. Rondo is averaging 11-16-6 in the last four games, generating three steals per game. For about a $1,000 less than John Wall, he is my preferred cash game point guard tonight. The pace of these two teams will override the good team defense of the Warriors. We saw that last night with Damian Lillard, and have seen opposing point guards have great fantasy games against Golden State.

Projection

@Kings340.9823.525.637.911533.3

Salary: FD: $7,800 DK: $8,000

Even with Steph Curry back the last few games, Klay Thompson has kept it rolling. He is averaging 29-2-4, shooting 49% from the field, and 48% from three. He has taken 20+ shots in six of the last seven games, which was the issue earlier in the season. He was not generating enough shots. That has changed, and we always knew he could knock them down. Sacramento has allowed the 4th most fantasy points per game to opposing SG, and if you are a seasoned DFS veteran, you know SG's have thrived against Sacramento. I will be paying up for Klay tonight.

@Magic350.8319.217.339.29729.1

Salary: FD: $6,000 DK: $6,100

Otto Porter has become the secondary scorer in Washington, behind John Wall. Porter has been excellent, averaging 14-2-7 in the last five games, shooting 50% from the field. He has averaged 12-4-9 in three games against Orlando this season, with 3.3 steals per game. He hasn't seen a bigger usage rate with Bradley Beal out, but his numbers have certainly spiked. With no elite small forward going tonight, Otto Porter is about as high as I will pay up at SF, especially due to the other big names I want in my lineup.

Projection

@Kings331.2124.519.539.211539.9

Salary: FD: $9,700 DK: $10,000

Depending on the site, Draymond Green is your lone option at PF tonight. FanDuel you can plug him in, while on DraftKings you have the Boogie and Draymond debate. You can't go wrong with either, and hell, you could even lock in both if you please. Draymond Green notched another triple-double last night, going 11-10-13. He shot the ball just six times, scoring over 40 fantasy points. His price is hefty, but he remains the top option, and with a Vegas total of 223, attack this game at full force. Sacramento has allowed the 5th most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards.

Jonas Valanciunas (C), Raptors

Projection

@76ers290.9731.82051.910528.1

Salary: FD: $5,900 DK: $5,500

Because I do not want to list the entire Kings-Warriors roster, Jonas Valanciunas is listed here at center. On FanDuel, DeMarcus Cousins is your top center, but I am going to list a cheaper option. Valanciunas is averaging 10-1-8, with two blocks per game in the last six. He has played 30 minutes in back-to-back games, which is encouraging given he is coming back from injury. He has a great matchup tonight against Philly, who have given up the 4th most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. They rank 25th in rebound differential, making Jonas a nice double-double threat tonight.

Value Plays

Ramon Sessions (PG - WAS) FD: $4,300 DK: $4,100

Ramon Sessions is averaging 12-4-4 in the last five games, and usually sees around 27 minutes a game. I am digging deep with this value play, due to the prices of the guys above. Sessions fits into the stars-and-scrubs strategy that will likely take place with many cash game lineups tonight. Sessions will give you 20-25 fantasy points, which is solid for the price.

James Johnson (SF - TOR) FD: $3,500 DK: $3,700

With no Carroll or Ross, James Johnson should see a tick up in minutes tonight. Johnson is not a good basketball player by any means, but you are going to need to punt somewhere, and SF is the spot to do it. He also has a great matchup against Philly, who have allowed the 4th most fantasy points per game to opposing SF.

Nerlens Noel (PF - PHI) FD: $6,300 DK: $6,600

Nerlens Noel is in the $6,000's, but PF is horrible tonight, and Noel is still putting up successful numbers for a cheaper price. He is averaging 13 and 10, with over three blocks+steals per game in the last five games. He give you a solid 25 fantasy point floor, even in that blowout against the Clippers where he played 22 minutes. Love his price tag tonight, and Toronto ranks 17th in fantasy points allowed to opposing PF.

Those were the exact players I wrote in cheat sheets. This is a really cut and dry slate.

Definitely, it is an easy call tonight.
