Vegas Notes

- The biggest spread of the night belongs to the Hornets, being 10.5 favorites against Philly. Despite a blowout concern, this game should stay close most of the way.

- 76ers and Pelicans have the lowest team totals tonight, while the Warriors, and Clippers have the highest team totals.

- Celtics have a 104 projected score tonight, and this team consistently stays underpriced due to spreading the fantasy points between the whole team. If you can nail the right plays, Boston always pays off.

Yes, Russell Westbrook is the top option, but I do not need to write-up much for you to know that these days.

I am also looking at another point guard with monster upside, in one of the juiciest matchups on the night. Lowry has been incredibly consistent this season, averaging 20-5-6, with nearly three steals a game. Lowry has scored 20+ points in seven of ten games this season, and has shown to do it all. L.A. is one of the poorer rebounding teams in the league, and while it is unlikely to grab ten boards, I do believe he can be a triple-double threat. L.A. ranks in the bottom five in defensive efficiency, and 26th in fantasy points allowed to opposing point guards.

It will likely be another night without Derrick Rose, but things can change. If Rose does play, I will be paying down at shooting guard, to make room for the bigger names. If Rose is out, Jimmy Butler is one of the higher floor players at shooting guard, and no carries big time upside. Butler scored 32 points in his last game, and he takes on more of a scoring role without Rose. He is shooting 45% on the season, and can pad his stats in the steals department. Golden State ranks 16th in fantasy points allowed to opposing shooting guards, so a middle of the road matchup.

After Nicolas Batum burned many against New York the other night, he has been a fantasy monster in Charlotte. His usage rate is up big time from when he was in Portland, where he just had a 14.6% usage rate. Batum gets a nice matchup against Philly tonight, who rank dead last against small forwards in fantasy points allowed. Batum is shooting 45% from the field, and 43% from three this year, averaging 17 points per game. His price is on the rise, but he has been a great cash game SF, with his floor sitting around 30+ fantasy points.

Derrick Favors continues to have a dominate 2015-2016 campaign, averaging 16/9. He also is grabbing two steals per game, and is a great shot blocker. Dallas is dreadful against power forwards, ranking dead last against power forwards, in fantasy points allowed. Favors is shooting 53% from the field this season, continuing to be an efficient offensive player. Dallas ranks in the bottom half in rebounding differential, and you have to like both Favors and Rudy Gobert tonight in this matchup.

Salary: FD: $10,100 DK: $9,900

Depending on how you are constructing lineups, Andre Drummond may not fit into your lineups, but is a guy I would want to pay up for at center. He is averaging 19 and 19 this season, and continues to post 50 fantasy point games. Minnesota ranks 16th in defensive efficiency, and have been good against centers this season, but Drummond is too good to pass up here.

Value Plays

T.J. McConnell (PG - PHI) FD: $5,100 DK: $5,300

You may have forgotten about T.J. McConnell, but he has still been a consistent value play. He had a 16-3-6 line against Indy, in just 20 minutes. He is not a great scorer, but he does a little bit of everything. He continues to see steady minutes, and at these prices, he fits into most lineups.

Avery Bradley (SG - BOS) FD: $5,700 DK: $4,700

This is more of DraftKings play, I would roll with Will Barton on FD to save a few hundred. Bradley has been coming off of the bench lately, but it has not slowed him down. He has scored 18 points per game since the switch with three rebounds, and three assists.

Jeff Green (SF - MEM) FD: $4,300 DK: $3,900

A great night for Jeff Green to still be cheaper than a beer at a baseball game. He has played 30+ minutes in the last three games, scoring 20+ points in the last two games, and 14 the game before. Houston ranks 26th in defensive efficiency, you are going to need yourself some Jeff Green in those lineups tonight.

Marvin Williams (PF - CHA) FD: $5,000 DK: $5,500

Charlotte has a lot of plays tonight, so grab some pieces against this Philly defense. They rank 27th against opposing power forwards for fantasy points allowed, and Williams has been a stable value play this season. He is averaging 10-7-2 this year, with a block per game. Kristaps Porzingis is also in play, but is a tad more expensive.

The first 5 guys on your list is how I built my Fantasy Hub lineup today. Love Lowery and Drummond tonight.
