The Big "KAT" has asserted himself as an early candidate for Rookie of the Year, averaging 16/10 with 2.3 blocks per game in just 29.5 minutes per contest. Tonight he faces off against the worst team in the NBA in the 76ers, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing C over their last 5 games. Towns has been remarkably consistent, averaging 36.6 DK points per contest. He has hit the double-double bonus 6 of his last 9 games, falling just one rebound short twice. He's in a great spot and priced fairly.

Hayward is one of my favorite SF targets for cash games. With Kevin Durant officially "questionable" for tonight, his matchup is unclear, but what isn't unclear is his role for the Jazz. Hayward is a great all-around player, and although he has gotten off to a slow start, he owns a very high floor each night. Over his last 8 games, he has reached 29+ DK points in all but one contest, and flashed his upside with a 42.75 FP game against the Heat. He is one of the few players at SF on tonight's slate who you can comfortably expect 25-30 FP at a reasonable price in cash games.

Salary: FD (C): $10,600 DK (PF): $10,300

Cousins is in the midst of yet another torrid stretch, having reached the 60 FP plateau 3 times in his last 4 games. He is averaging a ridiculous 28/11/3/2 and 50.3 DK points per contest (which includes a 15-minute game against the Clippers, when he was injured prior to halftime). Tonight he faces a good defensive team in Charlotte, but the Hornets are actually bottom-10 in fantasy points allowed by to both PF and C over the last 5 games. Rudy Gay is also questionable for this one, and if he sits, Cousins and his already sky-high usage rate will see yet another bump.

With a price that is steadily rising, playing Knight is becoming tougher in cash games, but I'm going back to the well tonight. The Spurs are known as a great defensive team, but have shown plenty of signs of weakness this year, especially to opposing guards. While Russell Westbrook is easily the top play (even if Kevin Durant returns), you can save nearly 4,000 of salary by going with Knight, who has shown tremendous upside as well. He is averaging 39.3 DK points per contest, and is averaging a solid 22/5/5. If I'm not paying for Westy in a tough matchup against Utah, I'm on #TeamKnight.

Projection

vs ORL

340.9920.22540.0910336

Salary: FD: $8,000 DK: $8,200

Love is one of the best offensive PF in the game. He is an elite shooter, elite rebounder, and can facilitate the offense if necessary. He has at least 41 DK points in 5 of his last 7 contests, and now faces an Orlando team that is allowing the 3rd-most fantasy points to opposing PF over the last 5 games. The Cavaliers said they wanted to get Love more involved in the offense, and they have done just that. He is averaging 18/12, and is a double-double machine on DK.

Value Plays

Tristan Thompson (PF - CLE) FD: $5,600 DK: $5,300

Tristan slid right into the starting lineup against Atlanta, scoring 39.5 DK points in 40 minutes of court time. He should be locked into big minutes once again against an Orlando team that is middle of the road on the glass. TT is a monster on the boards, and pulled down 16 against the Hawks. He was just one point shy of a double-double, but scoring should be no issue down low against a weak defensive frontcourt.

Jeremy Lin (PG - CHA) FD: $4,600 DK: $4,500

While he hasn't been incredibly productive, Lin makes sense as a cash game punt tonight. He has played at least 28 minutes in 3 straight games, and has averaged just over 22 FPPG in that span. His matchup isn't intimidating to say the least against a Kings backcourt devoid of defensive talent. Don't expect big things, but he should be a safe bet for 18-25 FP on the cheap tonight.

Kristaps Porzingis (PF - NY) FD: $6,300 DK: $6,700

Porzingis has been incredible of late, with a 46.75 and and 59.5 FP game sandwiched around a 19 FP dud against the Thunder. Tonight he faces the Heat, who are known as a solid defensive team. He has emerged as the 1B option to Carmelo Anthony, and although his price has steadily risen, he makes for a fine play against Chris Bosh and company down low.
