Vegas Notes

- Grizzlies have the biggest point spread of the night facing Philadelphia. They are 10 point favorites, and on a small slate, both teams are still in play.

- Nuggets are the highest projected scoring team of the night, which is no surprise give they are playing the Lakers.

- Three low total games tonight, so do not be shocked if tonight's slate is low scoring.

Salary: FD: $8,700 DK: $8,300

Small four game slate tonight, and Kyle Lowry is your safe option at point guard tonight. Dallas has been average defensively against opposing point guards, allowing the 15 most fantasy points per game. Dallas also allows the 12th most steals per game to opposing point guards, which is something that Lowry thrives in. He averages 2.3 steals per game this season. Lowry is averaging 17-4-4, even with a game where he was ejected from mixed in there. Lowry went off for 27-10-5 against Dallas in their previous matchup.

I do like DeMar DeRozen tonight for a top shooting guard option, but I also am looking a bit cheaper for Will Barton. Coming off of a career game, where he shot 63% from three, scoring 32 real points, with ten boards. He is a safe play regardless of Danilo Gallinari's status, but I do like him much more if he sits. Barton has been extremely consistent, averaging 17 and 7 in the last five games. Rarely do you see those peripheral numbers from a guard. L.A. is allowing the 6th most fantasy points per game to opposing SG, and Denver has the highest team total on the slate.

@76ers

310.8223.917.242.410225.4

Salary: FD: $4,900 DK: $5,500

If Danilo Gallinari plays tonight, he is a safe option, but Matt Barnes is healthy, and I know he will play. Barnes is averaging 13 and 7 in the last six games, with 3.3 blocks+steals per game. He is seeing a lot of time at the four, in which Philly allows the most fantasy points per game to. Memphis has a 102 total, and rarely do they see team totals over 100, just due to the nature of their offense. Barnes continues to have a cheaper price tag, although it has risen on DK, but still an easy play at such a weak position.

Lakers271.0424.621.244.410528.1

Salary: FD: $6,100 DK: $6,100

Power forward makes you uneasy tonight, but I never feel uneasy targeting against the Los Angeles Lakers. Kenneth Faried rarely plays over 30 minutes, averaging 27 minutes in the last five games. He is shooting 53% from the field in that span, averaging 15 and 10. He put up 28 and 15 against the Lakers last time out, but did play 39 minutes. I doubt we see a performance like that again, but he does have the matchup to be a stable cash game play, yet still possess big upside. L.A. ranks 29th in rebound differential, so Faried has a shot an another easy double-double.

@Heat

341.3224.924.744.69544.9

Salary: FD: $9,600 DK: $9,400

Andre Drummond has the highest floor and upside on the slate. His price is an easy one to accommodate, just due to a weak four game slate. He has the 5th highest usage rate among centers, and is one of the only options I want in this game for my cash lineups. Of course the four overtime game jumps these numbers up, but Drummond has averaged 19 and 15 in the last five games. He plays right around 35 minutes per game, averaging 18 and 16 on the season. A matchup against Hassan Whiteside is no concern, given he put up 18 and 20 on him in the first matchup.

Value Plays

Lou Williams (PG/SG - LAL) FD: $5,300 DK: $5,400

The Lakers' guard situation is a bit flustered, but all have received solid minutes, and hover around the 25 fantasy point range. Lou Williams is averaging 17-2-3 in the last five games, shooting 47%. I love Sweet Lou on FD where he is a cheaper alternative to the top SG's.

Chandler Parsons (SF - DAL) FD: $4,300 DK: $4,600

Chandler Parsons is off his minutes limit, and saw 31 minutes last time out. He posted a 16-7-6 line, with a steal. Parsons will not last long at these prices, so get him while you can. Parsons has a 20.4% usage rate this season, and although the matchup isn't ideal, the price and usage is.

Bismack Biyombo (C - TOR) FD: $4,600 DK: $5,200

While you likely won't need to pay down at center, Bismack Biyombo is the value center option. He is not an offensive usage guy, averaging just six points in the last six games. He has averaged 12 boards, with 2.2 blocks per game in that span. Dallas is an average defensive team down load, and rank 17th in rebound differential

And looks like Gallinari is out now.
