Vegas Notes

- Two blowout concerns tonight, Spurs -12.5, Cavs -9.5. Although I am attacking all four games regardless on tonight's four game slate.

- Cavs, Nuggets, Spurs, Suns are your three top team totals tonight. Bulls sit at 94, and are a hard pass against the best defensive team in the NBA.

Suns

320.8625.625.254.511127.5

Salary: FD: $6,000 DK: $6,500

Kyrie Irving and Kyle Lowry are the clear-cut number one options tonight, and their production speaks for itself. I will take a look a bit lower in the price range, likely pairing Emmanuel Mudiay with one of them. He is averaging 17-5-6 in the last five games, with 2.0 blocks + steals per game. Phoenix has allowed the second most points per game to opposing point guards this season, and rank 28th in defensive efficiency. Mudiay has averaged 32 fantasy points per game in two against Phoenix this season, which is a good expectation for him come the end of the night. I will be leaning on him heavily in cash tonight, like many of the guards from this game.

@Nuggets

330.7221.220.941.810323.7

Salary: FD: $5,700 DK: $5,600

Devin Booker is back -- averaging 24-2-4 over the last five games, and is also logging over 35 minutes per game in that span. Shooting guard only has one top priced option to consider tonight, DeMar DeRozen. I do not feel the need to pay up for him tonight, and will live in this range for this slate. Denver ranks 27th in defensive efficiency against opposing shooting guards, and have allowed the ninth most fantasy points per game. This game features a nice juicy total, and a lot of these players will help fit in the top priced guys.

@Lakers

351.3123.431.443.510945

Salary: FD: $10,100 DK: $9,800

Sure the blowout concern is there, as it was the other night against Memphis. The Lakers were able to keep this game close in the first matchup, allowing LeBron James to go off for his full workload. James is averaging 26-9-6 over the last four games, scoring 25+ real points in seven of the last ten games. James is essentially matchup proof anyway (well outside of Kawhi Leonard), but L.A. ranks dead last in defensive efficiency, and have allowed the second most fantasy points per game. Even in three quarters of play, if the blowout occurs, James will be able to get what you need.

Bulls

321.0922.925.544.810634.8

Salary: FD: $7,900 DK: $7,100

LaMarcus Aldridge is delivering fantasy numbers like he was back in Portland, averaging 25 and 10 over the last five games. He is shooting 57% from the field in that span, and is also delivering 2.0 blocks + steals per game. Chicago has struggled against power forwards of late, allowing the third most fantasy points per game. They now rank in the middle of the league in defensive efficiency. San Antonio has a solid total to target, and Aldridge is the first guy I want.

Projection

@Nuggets

351.0124.620.350.110335.3

Salary: FD: $6,600 DK: $6,900

Alex Len has been the rock for us over the last week and a half, and he will continue to be tonight. He is averaging 18 and 13 over the last five games, with 15 shot attempts per game in that span. Denver has allowed the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards this season, and rank 20th in defensive efficiency. Center is lacking on the slate, so expect Len to be the most popular play here.

Jeff Teague (PG - ATL) FD: $6,400 DK: $6,000

Well hello Jeff Teague, we meet again. I don't believe you have to truly pay up at point guard tonight, as there are a few options sitting right here in this range. Teague is one of them. He is coming off back-to-back 20 real point outings, and is averaging 15-3-7 over the last five games. Tougher matchup for Teague, but this game is going to be close until the end. Expect a competitive game with production from the stars.

Gary Harris (SG - DEN) FD: $5,100 DK: $5,000

Another guard from the Nuggets-Suns game, as they have two of the worst backcourt defenses in the land. Phoenix has allowed the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards, and rank 30th in defensive efficiency. Harris is averaging 16-2-2 over the last five games, logging 38 minutes on average.

Tim Duncan (C - SAS) FD: $5,300 DK: $4,400

This is a DraftKings play -- If you are looking for a cheaper than $5,000 value play, Tim Duncan is in a good spot to add alongside Len. He is averaging 26 fantasy points per game in the last four, and gets a very favorable matchup to put up those types of numbers again. Chicago has allowed the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing centers, and rank 25th in defensive efficiency.
