Vegas Notes

- Golden State-Phoenix has the highest total on the night (227), but with a -17 point spread. It screams blowout, and keeps me off everyone but Draymond Green in cash games.

- Portland-Orlando, Houston-Charlotte, Washington-Denver, New Orleans-Milwaukee, and San Antonio-Oklahoma City all have totals over 210.

Make that three straight 50 fantasy point for Jrue Holiday, as the New Orleans' backcourt continues to be decimated with injuries. Holiday and Toney Douglas picked up the minutes, and will continue to be top options going forward. Milwaukee is dealing with some backcourt issues of their own, and the matchup is not as tough as perceived anymore. In 24 minutes against Milwaukee last time out, Holiday put up 37 fantasy points.

Victor Oladipo is averaging 35 fantasy points per game over the last ten games, averaging an 18-5-3 line, with 2.7 blocks + steals per game. With Nikola Vucevic and Elfrid Payton out at the moment, Oladipo is relied on heavily for offense. Portland ranks 25th in defensive efficiency against opposing shooting guards, and have allowed the 10th most fantasy points per game. Yes, Oladipo is a repeat top pick from last night, but everything lineups for him having another solid night. I also have no issue with going completely cheap at shooting guard.

The Greek Freak is averaging 19-9-8 over the last ten games, with 3.9 blocks + steals per game. He has been established as a GPP play for most of his career, but now not so much. He has shown cash game consistency, and while his price is up there, I will be all over him tonight. New Orleans ranks 29th in defensive efficiency, and have allowed the fifth most fantasy points per game in the last ten games to opposing small forwards. He has just two games in the last ten scoring under 40 fantasy points, and tonight is not expected to be another one. With the value on tonight's slate, you should be able to fit him in alongside a pretty safe lineup. Nicolas Batum on FanDuel is another top option at small forward.

The top power forward play is Anthony Davis tonight, is has five straight double-doubles. He has a tremendous matchup against Milwaukee, who have allowed the fourth most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards. They also rank 19th in defensive efficiency. In the last ten games, Anthony Davis is averaging over 50 fantasy points per game (28-12-2). He is also averaging 3.0 blocks + steals per game in that span. Milwaukee has allowed a ton of blocks and steals to the power forward position this season, so the defensive upside should come in with the rebounding and offense. He is not a must, because guys like LaMarcus Aldridge, Jabari Parker, and Draymond Green also sit with attractive price tags, and can accumulate points in the general range.

It is going to be pretty hard to get away from Andre Drummond tonight. He has averaged 18 and 17 against Philly this season in three games. He is averaging 15 and 15 over the last ten games, sitting right around 40 fantasy points a night. Philly ranks dead last in rebounding, and have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. His DraftKings' price seems a bit too cheap for the matchup, but center tonight is a spot I want to pay up for, and Drummond takes the top nominee.

Value Plays

Toney Douglas (PG - NOP) FD: $3,600 DK: $3,700

Toney Douglas has played 42 (OT) and 37 minutes over the last two games, as Norris Cole has sat out. He is questionable again, and it looks iffy yet again. Douglas will see 25+ minutes. His price tag is too cheap to fade that this point, as he opens up a ton of salary for other guys. New Orleans has a 103 team total tonight, and I will definitely be getting exposure to it.

Gary Harris (SG - DEN) FD: $5,100 DK: $5,100

Both Gary Harris and Will Barton are in play, but I would look Barton's way more so in tournaments. Minutes have been inconsistent. Harris's have not been, averaging 38 in the last five games. He is averaging over 25 fantasy points per game in that span, and will have a terrific matchup in tonight's matchup. Washington ranks 26th in defensive efficiency against opposing shooting guards. If you need to go cheaper give, Hollis Thompson, a look.

Marvin Williams (PF - CHA) FD: $5,800 DK: $5,400

I am hoping Marvin Williams gets overlooked tonight, because he is in a tremendous spot. Houston has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards, and rank 29th in defensive efficiency. Williams is averaging 13-8-1 over the last ten games, which is right around 30 fantasy points on average. He is solid exposure to this game for a cheap price. With Tobias Harris opposite position of Williams on both sites, and at a similar price, he deserves mention as well.
