Vegas Notes

- No blowout concerns tonight!!

- The only team projected to score under 100 points is Indiana, while the others sit right around 100-104. It is a pretty balanced night, and the only team not in my cash games is Sacramento.

Knicks

320.8822.824.148.710228.1

Salary: FD: $7,100 DK: $7,200

The rookie point guard has thrived since entering the starting five, averaging 21-3-4 over the last ten games. He is shooting 47% from the field in that span, and 46% from three. 3Angelo Russell is the real deal, and on a slate that lacks top-priced point guards, he is the top option. New York ranks 14th in defensive efficiency against opposing point guards this season, not definitely not an intimidating matchup by any means.

Khris Middleton (SG), Bucks

@Nets

380.9020.122.943.310334.2

Salary: FD: $7,900 DK: $7,300

Coming off of a near triple-double, Khris Middleton is the top option at shooting guard, and it's not even close. Brooklyn has allowed the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards, and rank 23rd in defensive efficiency. Middleton is averaging 22-5-4 over the last five games, which is over 40 fantasy points on average. His shot is dropping (47.6%), and Middleton's 39 minutes per game in the last ten is always a bonus. Middleton should easily be in your lineups tonight. Monta Ellis is a terrific option tonight, and even more so if George Hill sits.

@Lakers

391.1323.429.543.510444.1

Salary: FD: $8,900 DK: $8,300

Over the last ten games, Carmelo Anthony is averaging 23-8-4, shooting 45% from the field in that span. He is an easy cash game play tonight, on a slate that doesn't feature a ton of high-priced options. L.A. has allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing small forwards, and rank dead last in defensive efficiency. Melo should secure one of or your only small forward spot tonight, with his 29.5% usage rate in this matchup.

Projection

@Kings

341.0625.423.842.310336.1

Salary: FD: $7,300 DK: $7,100

Derrick Favors is my favorite power forward on the slate, averaging 16-8-1, with 3.2 blocks + steals per game in the last ten games. Sacramento has allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards, and rank 28th in defensive efficiency. This is a pretty easy slate to go balanced, and Favors should fit right into your lineups. Look for him to be one of the top Jazz fantasy scorers come the end of the slate.

Al Horford (C), Hawks

Projection

Pacers

341.0627.020.847.710136.0

Salary: FD: $7,100 DK: $6,800

Al Horford is averaging 15-9-3 over the last ten games, with 3.0 blocks + steals per game. He has been exactly around that in three games against Indiana this season, and I expect him to be around it again. The Pacers rank 17th in rebounding, and 11th in defensive efficiency. This might look subpar, but Horford has been able to dominate in average to subpar matchups this season. If you are not playing too many Bucks already, look towards Greg Monroe as well.

Value Plays

Jerryd Bayless (PG - MIL) FD: $4,200 DK: $4,700

There are a couple of cheap point guards on the slate worth looking at, and Shelvin Mack is the other. Jerryd Bayless is averaging 34 minutes over the last six games, going 12-3-3 in that span. With Milwaukee being without O.J. Mayo and Michael Carter-Williams, expect Bayless to see heavy minutes again. Brooklyn has allowed the fourth most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards.

Bojan Bogdanovic (SF/SG - BKN) FD: $4,000 DK: $4,500

Bojan Bogdanovic is back from his rest day, and had been playing well before, generating over 20 fantasy points in four of the last five games. He has an above average matchup tonight, Milwaukee has allowed the seventh most fantasy points per game to opposing small forwards this season. In two games this season, Bogdanovic has averaged 20 fantasy points in 24 minutes on average.

Robin Lopez (C - NYK) FD: $5,900 DK: $5,900

I don't mind Robin Lopez in all formats, which is something I don't say too often. He is averaging 13-9-1 over the last ten games, with 1.7 blocks per game. The matchup is top notch for Lopez, as the Lakers have allowed the fourth most fantasy points per game to opposing centers, and rank dead last in defensive efficiency.
