Vegas Notes

- Every team is projected to score over 100 points tonight, with the exception of the Clippers (95.5) I am never a fan of targeting against the Spurs anyway.

- Kings, Nets, Lakers, and Magic are the four top scoring teams tonight, with the others not far behind.

- Fire away on everyone but L.A. in cash games.

There have been a few disappointing games of late for Rajon Rondo, which have deflated his price a bit on both sites. These games were against Cleveland, Utah, and San Antonio. Three opponents I can easily see him having down games against. Tonight however, should be completely different. It is mid-March, and we know about the horrendous Lakers' defense already, but in case you need a refresher. The Lakers have allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season, and rank 29th in defensive efficiency. Rondo has averaged 13-4-12 in three games against L.A. this season. I expect him to be around that 40-point mark again tonight.

The Orlando Magic are dealing with plenty of injuries. Nikola Vucevic and Elfrid Payton have already been ruled out for tonight's game, while C.J. Watson and Brandon Jennings are questionable. Either way the Magic will rely on Victor Oladipo to lead the offense, as he has a 25.5% usage rate without Vucevic this season. We could even see some "point Dipo" tonight, but either way Denver ranks 26th in defensive efficiency against opposing guards, and have allowed the sixth most fantasy points per game. Over the last ten, Oladipo is averaging 18-4-3, with two steals per game. Even with the injuries to Orlando, the 107 team total is an attractive one to target.

Unfortunately DraftKings hasn't been keeping up with the position eligibility, so we are splitting it up a bit. Evan Fournier is a SF on FanDuel, and SG on DraftKings. He is still easy to pair up on both sites, as his price is sitting in a solid range tonight. Evan Fournier is averaging 16-3-3 over the last ten games, shooting 49% from the field. Denver ranks 18th in defensive efficiency against small forwards this season, and have allowed the 12th most fantasy points per game. Even if he shifts to shooting guard, Fournier is in a great spot tonight. With Evan Turner and Fournier both being shooting guards on DK, you might be forced to pay up small forward.

76ers

Salary: FD: $7,000 DK: $7,000

Brooklyn has a monster 108 total tonight, and have some good pieces to grab value from. Thaddeus Young doesn't have a value price tag, but he is easily my favorite power forward of the night, well not on DraftKings with DeMarcus Cousins, but you know what I mean. Young is averaging 15-8-2 over the last ten games, also notching two swipes per game. He gets a fantastic matchup against Philly, who have allowed the third most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards, and rank 27th in defensive efficiency. In three games against the 76ers, Young has averaged 20-10-2.

@Lakers

361.4532.335.752.511052.2

Salary: FD: $11,100 DK: $10,500

How can you not like Boogie Cousins on tonight's slate. There are a few stars on board to pay up for, but none compare to Cousins for me. Yes he is priced high, but you can easily fit him in tonight. Cousins is averaging 29-12-4 over the last ten games, with 3.2 blocks + steals per game. He has averaged that as well against the Lakers in three games this season, shooting 52% from the field against them. Lakers rank 26th in rebounding, and have allowed the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing centers this season. They also rank dead last in defensive efficiency, if you needed any more reason to play Boogie tonight.

Value Plays

Darren Collison (PG - SAC) FD: $5,300 DK: $5,200

Darren Collison's minutes have been at a starter's level recently, averaging 33 minutes over the last ten games. He is also averaging 13-2-5 in that span, generating 26 fantasy points per game. Collison has seen time at the point, but the shooting guard spot as well. The Lakers have allowed the third most fantasy points to the two guard this season, and that 110 Vegas total is one I want a piece of. Collison is a cheap way to get it.

Gary Harris (SG - DEN) FD: $5,200 DK: $5,100

I am praising Gary Harris' consistency, and on a team that fluctuates minutes to a degree that is unfriendly for us, Harris' remain the same. He is averaging 36 minutes per game in the last ten, to go with a 16-3-2 line. He is shooting 50% from the field in that span, and is logging 1.7 steals per game. Over the last ten games Orlando has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards, and rank 15th in defensive efficiency.

Carl Landry (PF - PHI) FD: $4,400 DK: $3,700

Robert Covington, Jerami Grant, and Richaun Holmes are all out tonight, meaning Carl Landry will pick up some run at the four. Landry has three 25+ fantasy point games in the last four games, seeing 25 or more minutes in each. He should be right around 25 minutes again tonight. In those games where he scored 25+ fantasy points he had a usage rate of 32.3, 28.5, and 26.7. Brooklyn ranks dead last in defensive efficiency against opposing power forwards.

Love all the plays. I forgot all about Fournier as a value option tonight.

The difference of SF on DK and FD is ridiculous today.
