Nuggets

291.0424.826.050.510830.1

Salary: FD: $6,400 DK: $6,000

John Wall is the clear-cut number one option tonight, with the other top-priced point guards in tougher matchups. Jeff Teague's price and matchup is what draws me to him tonight, squaring off in a home matchup against Denver. The Nuggets have allowed the 11th most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season, and rank 22nd in defensive efficiency. Even though the minutes are under 30 for Teague, he is averaging 15-7-3 over the last ten games, good for over 30 fantasy points per game. Price considered he is one of my favorite options, given he allows you to use salary elsewhere.

Nets

351.0520.524.942.310736.7

Salary: FD: $8,600 DK: $8,100

Brooklyn ranks 25th in defensive efficiency against opposing shooting guards this season, and have allowed the sixth most fantasy points per game. Jimmy Butler comes in as an easy top option for tonight's slate, and has torched Brooklyn for an average of 24-5-3 in two matchups. Butler is still logging heavy minutes regardless of the injury concerns he has had over the last few weeks, which is encouraging given we always look for the minutes. With Pau Gasol doubtful tonight, Butler's usage rate has gone up a little over 4% with him off the floor.

Paul George (SF), Pacers

Raptors

361.1820.730.337.910242.8

Salary: FD: $9,000 DK: $8,400

If you want to go ahead and pay up for Greek Freak, be my guest. His price has skyrocketed, but his near triple-double threat every night has become tough to fade. Paul George on the other hand is a bit cheaper, and is averaging 22-6-4 over the last ten games. Toronto ranks 17th in defensive efficiency, and rank 13th in FG% allowed to opposing small forwards. Not an overly tough matchup for George, and certainly not one to scare me off of him tonight. He has averaged 16-7-5 in two games against Toronto this season, also tacking on two steals per game.

Trail Blazers

341.1021.625.645.310837.4

Salary: FD: $7,900 DK: $7,200

LaMarcus Aldridge has been on fire of late, averaging 21-9-2 over the last ten games. He is shooting 53% from the field in that span, and is also tacking on 2.2 blocks + steals per game. He gets a matchup against his former team, who have allowed the 10th most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards in the last ten games. His price is still remotely cheap for what he has been producing lately, also noting the consistency he brings to the table. Look for him to continue his hot play tonight.

@Bulls

341.1530.127.352.210239.1

Salary: FD: $8,300 DK: $8,100

The Nets are the perfect DFS team, being able to keep games close, and provide a balance of high-priced and value plays. Brook Lopez is one of those top plays, averaging 23-6-2 over the last ten games, with 2.9 blocks + steals per game. Chicago ranks 25th in defensive efficiency, and have allowed the third most fantasy points per game to opposing centers this season. Lopez has one of the higher usage among centers tonight, and I will be paying up for him in all formats tonight.

Value Plays

Shelvin Mack (PG - UTA) FD: $5,500 DK: $5,400

With Gordon Hayward questionable, the usage shifts to the backcourt, and luckily for us the backcourt gets a fantastic matchup against Phoenix. The Suns have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season, and rank 30th in defensive efficiency. Mack is averaging 12-5-4 over the last ten games, and has especially picked it up of late.

Rodney Hood (SG - UTA) FD: $5,400 DK: $5,600

Rodney Hood is another Jazz backcourt player who will see a bigger usage if Hayward sits. Even if he plays these two are still on my radar. Phoenix ranks 30th in defensive efficiency against opposing shooting guards, and have allowed the fifth most fantasy points per game. Hood is averaging 13-3-3 over the last ten games, and is coming off of a 28 real point game.

Carl Landry (PF - PHI) FD: $4,900 DK: $4,200

Carl Landry took a little price hit, given he has scored 25+ fantasy points in four of the last five games. With all the injuries for the 76ers, Landry will pick up the usual 25 minutes tonight against Washington. Robert Covington and Jerami Grant have been ruled out. Washington ranks 24th in defensive efficiency against opposing power forwards, and have allowed the eighth highest FG%.
