I will be looking for Chris Paul to bounce back tonight against Portland, coming off of a down game against the Warriors. The Clippers have the second highest team total on the slate, and you know where the scoring comes from with this team. Portland ranks 19th in efficiency against opposing point guards, and have allowed the third most fantasy points per game in the last ten days. You can also look at Damian Lillard in this game, but more so in GPP's.

Salary: FD: $6,500 DK: $6,100

Monta Ellis is averaging 14-4-5 over the last ten games, tacking on 2.4 steals per game. Indiana is sitting with the top team total tonight, and I love exposure to Ellis and George. New Orleans has allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards this season. Ellis is a safe play in all formats on such a short slate.

Salary: FD: $9,000 DK: $8,500

If the Cavs situation rules out LeBron, or all three stars play, Paul George becomes the top option at small forward. George is averaging 24-6-4 over the last ten games, with 2.6 blocks + steals per game. New Orleans ranks 28th in efficiency against opposing small forwards. George is at a slight discount from James and Durant tonight, making him much more attractive given the matchup.

Cavs Update: The Cleveland news is something we are all keeping an eye on. With a six point spread they likely will be resting one of the big three. If LeBron or Irving take a seat, I am all over Kevin Love and whoever else is playing with him. Love is averaging 14-8-2 over the last ten games. Brooklyn ranks dead last in efficiency against opposing power forwards, rand have allowed the eighth most fantasy points per game.

Salary: FD: $8,100 DK: $7,700

There is only one clear cut center option on tonight's slate, and that is DeAndre Jordan. Portland is allowing fifth most fantasy points per game in the last ten games, and they have struggled all season long. Portland ranks 26th in efficiency against centers, and Jordan has averaged 14 and 17 against them in three meetings against Portland, and 16 and 13 over the last ten games.

Value Plays

Derrick Rose (PG - CHI) FD: $6,700 DK: $5,800

Derrick Rose has quietly been scoring much better of late, averaging 18-2-5 over the last ten games, shooting 50% from the field. He draws a favorable matchup against New York who rank 15th in efficiency. Rose has scored 30+ fantasy points per game in seven of the last ten games, and I expect him to be around that 30 mark again.

Taj Gibson (PF - CHI) FD: $5,500 DK: $5,100

Pau Gasol is set to miss tonight's game, meaning Taj Gibson will see time at center tonight, and get a tick up in usage down low. Gibson is averaging 10-6-2 over the last ten games, shooting 57% from the field. He is also averaging 2.7 blocks + steals per game. New York ranks 19th in efficiency against opposing centers this season, and have allowed the 13th most fantasy points per game in the last ten.

Mason Plumlee (C - POR) FD: $5,200 DK: $4,700

With Myers Leonard out, Mason Plumlee has seen minutes in the upper 20's. He is averaging 11-9-2 over the last five games, with 2.0 blocks + steals per game. L.A. ranks 29th in rebounding, and 24th in efficiency against centers. This is a solid game to get exposure to, and both teams struggle against centers.
