Boston is sitting with one of the highest team totals on the night, and this game does feature two of the top paced teams in basketball. Isaiah Thomas is my favorite point guard on the night, averaging 25-3-5 in the last ten games. There is also a slight revenge game narrative to add on top of this, but overall the matchup doesn't get much better. Phoenix has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards, and rank 28th in efficiency. I don't see the need to go up to Lillard, when IT4 is priced at this salary.

I am going to be avoiding a rule I have had in place most of the season, which is targeting against the Boston backcourt. Devin Booker is an exception tonight due to the high usage, and heavy minutes. He is averaging over 30 fantasy points per game in the last ten games, logging nearly 38 minutes per game. Booker will be a top option with or without Brandon Knight, who is questionable tonight. Boston ranks in the middle of the league in fantasy points per game allowed to shooting guards in the last ten. Booker has a 27.7% usage rate over the last ten games.

With the news of Kyrie Irving resting tonight, I am all in on King James. He has averaged 26-7-6 in 25 games withouth Kyrie Irving this season, shooting 49% from the field. He is averaging exactly that over the last ten games, which sets those numbers as a pretty safe floor tonight. New York ranks 18th in efficiency against opposing small forwards this season, as James is pretty much matchup-proof anyway. I still believe he is price is an easy accomodation for lineups, and he will be in many of mine tonight. James has also averaged over 50 fantasy points per game at MSG in his career.

Power forward is pretty ugly tonight, resulting in Paul Millsap being the top tier option. Millsap is averaging 15-8-3 over the last ten games, with 3.7 blocks + steals per game. Detroit has allowed the 10th most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards in the last ten games. In three meeting Millsap has averaged 16-7-2, with 2.0 blocks + steals per game. I will be looking his way again, but value might also be the way to go as well. Jabari Parker and Jon Leuer both sit as top value plays for me at the position tonight.

Your top option at center is pretty clear tonight with Andre Drummond. He is averaging 16 and 13 over the last ten games, and will square off against Atlanta, who have struggled against centers all season. They rank 28th in rebounding, and have allowed the third most fantasy points per game to centers this season. Atlanta has been better defensively, but this looks like another easy double-double night for Drummond. He has averaged 20 and 16 in three meetings this season, and while that is asking a lot, I do expect him to be around 40 fantasy points again.

Value Plays

Elfrid Payton (PG - ORL) FD: $5,400 DK: $5,400

Orlando's backcourt situation has been a mess of late, but it seems Payton has worked his way back up in the world. Chicago ranks 18th in efficiency against point guards, and have allowed the seventh most fantasy points per game in the last ten days. If Victor Oladipo sits out I will like him even more, but Orlando still has a solid team total to target against a hapless Bulls' defense.

Evan Turner (SF/SG - BOS) FD: $6,100 DK: $5,700

Evan Turner might not be in this value section much longer, but he still is one of the best points-per-dollar plays on the board. He has started for Jae Crowder in the last three games, scoring 30, 37, and 40 DK points. He will be in an uptempo game against one of the worst defenses in the league tonight, and I expect another solid line out of him.

Mason Plumlee (C - POR) FD: $5,300 DK: $5,000

I love Mason Plumlee tonight, and definitely don't mind him as my only center on FanDuel. He is averaging 11-9-2 over the last five games, with 2.6 blocks + steals per game. He gets a fantastic matchup against the 76ers, who rank dead last in rebounding, and have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing centers this season. Fire up Plumlee.

Can't argue with these picks at all. Love James especially with Irving out.
