Each week we will be covering two top stacks, a value stack, and a contrarian stack. Playing two or more players from the same team can add to your ceiling, especially if that team goes off. Stacking is a great way to get an advantage in tournaments, and even cash games. We will narrow down projected fantasy points, ownership, and info for their matchups.

Tom Brady QB $9,200 $8,000 15-20 24.70 (DK), 21.50 (FD)
James White WR $4,800 $5,000 5-10 9.43 (DK), 7.63 (FD)
Rob Gronkowski TE $8,500 $7,300 25-30 15.54 (DK), 13.09 (FD)

The Patriots have a monster team total this week as they take on the Falcons at home. This game has the highest total on the board, and looks like a shootout from the start. Brady and Gronk are back to their old ways, and Gronk has now reached the 80 yard mark for four consecutive weeks, and totaled four scores over that span. Brady continues to look like he's in his 30s, not his 40s, and now leads the NFL in passing yards, is second with 13 TD passes, 3rd in YPA, and second in QB rating. The WR situation has been inconsistent at times for the Pats without Julian Edelman, and we could see Desmond Trufant all over Brandin Cooks this week. For that reason, I'll be gravitating more toward the pass-catching back James White, who actually leads the team with 42 targets on the year. This stack won't come cheap, but White is a good way to differentiate the likely popular Brady/Gronk duo, while saving some cap space. This is going to be a fun one to watch.

This is a perfect bounce-back spot for Ryan and Jones after yet another subpar game in Week 6. Jones has just 25 catches for 367 yards and ZERO scores thus far in 2017, with a baffling SINGLE target in the Red Zone. Every person on the planet has been waiting for his breakout week (including myself), and the Falcons are going to need everything they can get out of their big WR this week. If he doesn't find the end zone this week against a Pats defense that Football Outsiders (FO) ranks 30th against the pass and 32nd overall...then I may just stop chasing the points until I see them. With that said, this is a prime spot for production, and I'm chomping at the bit to stack both sides of this one. Freeman is one of my favorite plays who never seems to see much ownership, and he also is coming off a disappointing week, but it wasn't like he had much opportunity (11 touches). He has been out-targeted 20 to 13 by Tevin Coleman, which I still don't understand. Freeman is explosive and elusive in space, and this is the perfect spot for him to explode.

Call me a homer on this one (I know you will), but this team total for the Bengals seems to be unbelievably low. A.J. Green has a history of success against this team, and the Bengals offense has been improving every week of late. Here are Green's last 6 games against Pittsburgh: 5-71-1, 2-38, 6-132-1, 11-118-1, 8-82, 11-224-1 (43-665-4). Over that same span, his counterpart Antonio Brown has posted the following lines: 7-119, 3-58, 4-39, 7-87, 6-47-1, 7-128-1 (32-478-2). Obviously this isn't an article about which player to choose, but keep in mind that Green has had much more success of late in these AFC North battles. The Steelers have dominated the wins over that span (5-1), but there is still some upside to be had here. Joe Mixon is becoming more involved with this offense each week, and the Steelers have been about average (19th, per FO) against pass-catching backs. With Tyler Eifert out of the mix and the Steelers being very tough against opposing TEs (#2, per FO), I'm focusing my attention on these two exclusively.

With Emmanuel Sanders already ruled out for this weekend, and Siemian and Thomas both nursing minor injuries, this stack likely won't see a whole lot of ownership. The Broncos have now failed to score more than 16 points in three straight games, but the production here should be fairly easy to predict. Despite playing with a leg injury, Thomas finished last week's loss with 133 yards through the air, and although Anderson is coming off his worst performance of the season (9-17), he should see a big workload this weekend against a Chargers defense that FO ranks 28th against the run. The floor here for these guys (aside from Thomas) is certainly low, but the upside at low ownership and price is there.
