Happy Friday, we are back in action with a big 12 game slate. Only the Hawks are on the second night of a back-to-back, so everyone should be fresh and ready to go. Winners From Downtown is bringing the top daily picks for your cash games, alongside some value plays, and Vegas notes. Be sure to check out our minutes tool, and Colossus lineup optimizer.

Vegas Notes

- No surprise here, the Rockets-Warriors game is the highest projected scoring total of the night. Kings-Lakers, and Timberwolves-Nuggets are also both over 208. These are great places to build your teams around.

- Thunder-Magic have a 207 total tonight, and the Thunder are eight point favorites. We might be worrying about the blowout factor, but I think starters still see plenty of time into the fourth before the Thunder pull away.

- The biggest blowout potential is Spurs-Nets, with San Antonio being -14 point home favorites. Kawhi Leonard is one of the only players I feel comfortable rostering from this game.

- Jazz-76ers have the lowest total of the night, so I am not going to overload two Jazz players into my lineups tonight. However, I do like grabbing bits and pieces of that team if you are building multiple lineup. My favorite play is below.

- Hawks-Hornets looks to be the game to avoid tonight, the Hawks are on a back-to-back, while the Hornets are a mystery on offense.

@Rockets

1.3317.732.939.3108.543.9

Salary: FD: $10,400 DK: $9,900

Warriors-Rockets is one of the highest projected scoring games of the night, and why wouldn't it be? This game features Stephen Curry and James Harden. Curry averaged 25-6-8 against Houston during the regular season last year, shooting 52% from three. Curry is around Damian Lillard, and Russell Westbrook in pricing tonight, but he nudges the two out of the way for me. This game should be close, and he is coming off of a monster game, where he had a 33% usage rate. Look for Curry to drive another dagger through the hearts of Houston.

Thunder

Salary: FD: $7,700 DK: $7,100

Shooting guard seems to have about three top plays, James Harden, and Jimmy Butler are the other two. Both are in play tonight, but I am going with Victor Oladipo. This should give you a little edge in cash games as well, as for trying to differ from a player or two. Oladipo did not have a good shooting night, going 7-20 from the field, for 17 points. He is an average shooter, but he does so many things to rack up fantasy points. He came away with 11 boards, and two steals in that game as well. He is a featured part of this Magic offense, and had success against the Thunder last season, who were mediocre against opposing shooting guards.

Timberwolves

320.8721.621.637.3105.527.8

Salary: FD: $6,900 DK: $6,300

We should be wise and take advantage of these price tags while we can, because soon the sites will give him a small bump, or a big one if he produces along the lines of last game. He posted a 23-8-3 line, with three blocks, and a steal. Danilo Gallinari set the bar high, but we did see this upside towards the end of last season. Minnesota was one of the lesser defensive teams last season, especially against small forwards. I expect both of these teams to put up a ton of points, and this should be a fantasy goldmine. Even with the big names at SF tonight, I love taking Gallinari and paying up elsewhere.

@76ers

321.0618.129.040.9497.533.9

Salary: FD: $7,400 DK: $7,200

Derrick Favors got off to a great start for his 2015-2016 campaign. He racked up a double double, and 10-15 from the field. He scored 26 points, which was higher than I anticipated, but he has this in his arsenal. He has a great matchup against the 76ers tonight, and even with their big men, they still are a struggling defensive team. Favors also saw a 29% usage rate against Detroit two nights ago. As long as Favors can stay healthy this season, he should be one of the dominant cash game power forwards, especially if he stays in this price range. Another name to look at is Kenneth Faried.

DeMarcus Cousins (C), Kings

Projection

Lakers

351.432238.544.4109.550.5

Salary: FD: $10,900 DK: $10,200

DeMarcus Cousins must have worked on his three point game in the offseason, hitting four of five against the Clippers. Don't expect this to be a part of his game every night, although with Boogie's mine, who knows. Roy Hibbert is simply not a dominating threat, and Julius Randle has a lot to learn on the defensive side. We saw Karl Anthony-Towns have his way with this Lakers front court, so we can expect Cousins to thrash them as well. If I am paying up at center tonight, it will be for Boogie. We saw him drop a 60 burger on DraftKings against the Lakers last year. Jonas Valanciunas is a solid value play against a weak Celtics' front court.

Value Plays

Emmanuel Mudiay (PG - DEN) FD: $5,500 DK: $5,700

Emmanuel Mudiay had a nice fantasy debut, I mean NBA debut, against the Rockets. It would of been even better, if it wasn't for his 11 turnovers. This is his downside, and he will probably turn the ball over a fair amount this season, but he easily surpassed value, and saw a 30.2 usage rate. Expect him to be a big part of this offense going forward, and also expect his price to rise. Get him while you can.

Gerald Green (SG - MIA) FD: $4,000 DK: $3,800

If you are looking for a close to bare minimum play, Gerald Green put in a nice performance with Miami. He shot lights out from three (62%), and saw 30 minutes of playing time, with a 28.8 usage rate. He is coming off of the bench, but logging plenty of minutes at the two and the three. With Dwayne Wade aging, expect Green to be that threat off the bench for scoring.

Julius Randle (PF - LAL) FD: $4,700 DK: $5,200

Julius Randle looked great in his return from suffering that awful injury last season. He went 15 and 11, with two assists. Randle should be able to be a consistent double-double threat moving forward, and will be excellent value until his price rises. He had a 22.2% usage rate, which is a good estimate for him going forward. He will have a tougher task against the Kings front court, but still a matchup that should allow him to put up his share of points.

Karl Anthony-Towns (C - MIN) FD: $6,100 DK: $5,900

The amount of rookie and sophomore players already involved in our daily game is amazing. Karl Anthony-Towns did not disappoint in his debut, putting up a 14 and 12 night. He will face the Denver Nuggets, who have an atrocious defensive front court. Expect another efficient game from the field, and keep tabs on another player while his price is lower.

Love Curry and Cousins tonight. Also looking at Rubio.
