Winners From Downtown is bringing the top daily picks for your cash games, alongside some value plays, and Vegas notes. Be sure to check out our minutes tool, and Colossus lineup optimizer. These players will be the best-bets relative to their pricing, and if a player makes for a better play on DK than on FD, or vice versa, it'll be indicated in the notes. We have a 7-game slate tonight, and plenty of options to work with at some generally thin positions.

Projections show DraftKings prices and fantasy points.

Vegas Notes

- No blowouts tonight, or at least Vegas doesn't believe so. The highest spread is Detroit by 4.5.

- Nuggets-Lakers have the highest total tonight, while Pelicans-Magic have the second highest.

- Hornets-Bulls have just a 191 total tonight, which is pretty ugly, with no team looking like an appealing option. Charlotte has the lowest total tonight.

There are no elite point guards tonight, so we do not need to worry about having Westbrook or Curry in our lineups. However, I am making sure Kyle Lowry is in mine. He has one of the safer floors tonight, and probably the highest upside among point guards. Toronto ranks in the top ten in offensive efficiency, and Lowry has been a big factor in that. He is averaging 17-7-3 this season, and is racking up steals at a tremendous rate. (3.0 per game) His price is not bad, and you can still work in the bigger names tonight with him.

Jimmy Buckets continues to be the safest shooting guard plays, but his price is on the rise. Butler is by far the best SG play tonight, with Victor Oladipo being a close second, but is not a name I am trying to make sure is in my lineup. If you have the extra cash, or are going with a balanced lineup, Butler is a safe play. His usage rate is average, but this guy is a defensive stats machine. He is averaging just about three steals per game, and Charlotte has struggled against SG this season. This is not a game I want tons of exposure to, but for minutes and production, Butler is the guy.

I am not sure what the Pistons have turned Marcus Morris into, but he is working out on all levels right now. He is shooting 48% from the field right now, and is averaging 7.7 rebounds per game. He is also logging a ton of minutes, with 38 minutes per game, which will come down. We still expect mid-30's, and Indy ranks in the bottom half defending against small forwards. His price tag is still cheap, and SF is a spot to pay down for tonight. Pistons have a 103 point total tonight, and Indiana has a -9 rebound differential so far this season. This will also add to the Drummond play below.

Magic

Orlando has zero size down low, and Nikola Vucevic is not a great defender by any means. I will be firing up Anthony Davis tonight, who has 51 points, and 25 boards in the last two games. His usage rate is down compared to last year, but expect that to rise. With very little superstar power tonight, Davis steps in as one of the few must plays. He is also 4-9 from three this season, as we were all over when he announced he was adding a three point shot to his game.

Andre Drummond (C), Pistons

So that -9 rebound differential I mentioned with Indy earlier, let's add some Andre Drummond to the mix. Indy ranks dead last in rebound rate, and Drummond has upside for a 20-20 game tonight. I am not being dramatic either. He has three double-doubles in three games this season, and has also kept his foul trouble to a minimum so far this season. Drummond's weakness last season was foul trouble, but after three games against big opponents, I am saying he deserves to be a cash game play now.

Value Plays

Emmanuel Mudiay (PG - DEN) FD: $5,400 DK: $5,900

Emmanuel Mudiay will be a popular value play, but for good reason. He takes on the Lakers, which means he has an excellent matchup. L.A. has been allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season. This is not a shocker given they were among the worst last year. Mudiay has a 30.4% usage rate this season, and should easily pay off his cheap price tags.

Julius Randle (PF - LAL) FD: $5,100 DK: $6,100

This is the other popular value play tonight, and his ownership will be through the roof. Julius Randle is coming off of a monster line, and faces a battered Denver front court. Randle has a 25.7 usage rate, and is really the best Lakers' option right now. His DK price jumped, but still in play, while he is a must play on FanDuel tonight.

Evan Fournier (SG - ORL) FD: $4,500 DK: $4,300

Orlando has gone small, which means Evan Fournier is drawing starts, and logging big minutes. While this will likely change soon, he is still a solid value play in the meantime. He is averaging 14-2-4 this season, with 1.3 steals per game. He should continue to hit value with him sitting at these prices.

Willie Cauley-Stein (C - SAC) FD: $5,200 DK: $4,000

This is a DraftKings specific play, where Willie Cauley-Stein is sitting at just $4,000. He is one of the riskier value plays, because these young players can get into foul trouble very quickly. However, he will need to log minutes with DeMarcus Cousins out, and he has double-double potential. He also has 8 steals+blocks in the last two games, which adds to his upside. Memphis has been an average defensive team at best this season, but we know they will sure things up eventually. For $4,000, I don't mind the risk here.
