Residents of New Jersey can download the FanDuel Sportsbook app in your Apple App Store. Because the Google Marketplace doesn’t allow betting apps, you will need to use an internet browser to download the FanDuel Sportsbook App on your Android phone. Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, and Illinois are closing in on legalizing sports betting to potentially grow FanDuel’s list of states to bet in.

Registration Steps

After downloading the app, residents of approved states can hit “Join Now” in the top right of the app. If you have a Daily Fantasy Sports account with FanDuel, you will still need to create a new account. The next page will bring up your standard information to enter for you to join. If you do have a Daily Fantasy Sports account on FanDuel, you can easily sync them up to create your Sportsbook account.

New User Signup Bonus

For new users, use our exclusive Fanduel promo code and you will receive a signup bonus that gives you a risk free bet up to $500. This means you can make a bet up to $500 risk free, where if you lose, FanDuel will credit back the betted amount into your account. This credit will stay in your account until used again, you cannot withdraw the credited back amount. This signup bonus only applies to the Sportsbook side of the site, and not daily fantasy sports. The minimum deposit requirement is $10, and it must be made on one bet slip.

App Design

The FanDuel Sportsbook brings a very similar user experience to their desktop product, as it is almost a shrunk down version. Starting at the top of the page, you have your sports toolbar. This slides across showing all the sports currently in session. You also have live games to bet on, and a tab called “Daily Odds Boost” which is where you can find their featured events where they occasionally bump the odds for a bigger payout.

Below the sports toolbar, there will be featured tabs, showing new promos, featured bets, and news. After this you get into all of the odds for that given day or future events. The popular tab is your standard set tab, but moving by sport will help narrow down games. The main game tabs will show the spread, moneyline, and total. These are your more popular starting bets, but you are able to go into more wagers and view a much larger selection of game and player prop bets.

At the bottom of your phone, there is a tab to navigate towards all sports, your bet slip, promotions, and your my account profile. The all sports tab will motion across from the left of your screen, giving you quick access to choose from a specific sport. Your bet slip is where you can find all of your potential bets you are logging. The promotions tab is where you can view all the current promotions that FanDuel is running at the time.

Your my account tab is where you can access your personal information, and change at any time. This is also where your withdraw and deposit options are. If you find yourself looking for more answers about the site or have questions about the rules, their FAQ and handbook can be found here.

Gameplay

Placing bets on the FanDuel Sportsbook app is fairly simple. Your bet slip will track the bets you made, and give you easy options to wager the amount you desire, but also run teasers, parlays, and round robin style bets. If you are making a long list of bets, you can easily set the same wager across all bets by entering the amount in the stake all straights. Clicking the review lines tabs will show changes from prior movement.

Depositing & Withdrawing Money

Within your my account tab, you will see the options to withdraw and despot money into your account. There is a minimum of $10 for a deposit, and the same goes for withdrawing. The major ways to deposit money are through credit and debit cards, PayPal, and online bank transfers.

Withdrawing your money is simple as well. Your mailing address, birth date, and social security are required. You can withdraw to your PayPal account, get a FanDuel prepaid card, a bank check, an e-check, or if you are in the New Jersey area you can withdraw at the Meadowlands.

Support

Mobile support is within your my account tab, where you can reach out to a live chat member or send an email support ticket for less urgent help. FanDuel has always had a great support system on their Daily Fantasy Sports side, and it has transitioned over to Sportsbook side of the business. You can expect a response within 24-36 hours, and most of the time it is quicker, especially on the live chat side.

Editor’s Review

Overall the FanDuel Sportsbook app is a huge win. They have always had a great design on their desktop and other mobile apps, and the Sportsbook app is no different. The design is very clean, and replicates the desktop making it an easy transition in between the two. I can easily access various bets, and everything is an easy transition from one page to another. Betting on live sports has become a fun way to be engaged while watching a game. Their live page setup is one of the better ones I have seen.

Moving forward, FanDuel won’t have to do much to improve their product. They have great support, unique odd boosts, and a tremendous promotion right off the bat with a risk free $500 bet that turns into a credit with a loss. This is great for any starter. In addition to the slick and easy to use interface, FanDuel has a real winner on their hands. The only two areas of improvement, would be to have a more accessible way of downloading the app for the Android, instead of searching through their site for the link. The other would be taking another step to adding more research and info within specific games. Often you see sportsbooks have some added info on previous records and stats to help the casual user.
