The goal of cash games is to set yourself up with a high floor, and minimize taking a high amount of risk. In NFL we look towards volume with touches and targets, strong offenses, and obviously we still want to factor in defenses. Factoring in price and lineup construction is also very key towards cash games. While NFL has gotten chalky and you will need to make a few pivots, it is a way to be consistently profitable.

Quarterback

Jared Goff - FD: $7,800 / DK: $6,200 - Jared Goff is in the best spot of the week for quarterbacks. This Atlanta secondary is getting shredded, and the Rams are throwing more than any other team right now. Over the season, the Falcons are allowing 2.5 passing touchdowns per game, and over 270 passing yards per game. Goff is at a reasonable price, and is a safe option.

Running Backs

Leonard Fournette - FD: $7,900 / DK: $7,000 - Leonard Fournette is averaging 23.5 touches per game and gets one of the worst defenses in the league this week. The touchdowns have been lacking, but this is a strong spot for him. Cincinnati is allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, and have encouraged a lot of volume for backs too.

Tevin Coleman - FD: $6,200 / DK: $5,600 - Tevin Coleman is in a great spot this week as Washington has allowed over 20 fantasy points per game to opposing backs. While Coleman is part of a duo with Matt Brieda, the 49ers are running over 35 times per game. Coleman will get his touches, and has an advantage of being a red zone back too. The 49ers should control this game, and Coleman is a nice bargain buy.

Wide Receivers

Robert Woods - FD: $7,300 / DK: $5,900 - All the Rams wideouts are in a great spot this week, and cash game builds should be around the Rams passing attack. Robert Woods is seeing 8.5 targets per game, on an offense that is throwing at a top three rate in the league. The Falcons secondary is easy to target right now, and have allowed 197 receiving yards per game and 1.67 touchdowns to wide receivers.

Tyler Boyd - FD: $5,600 / DK: $5,600 - It was a down week for Tyler Boyd, which was disappointing. I am going back to the well here, especially on FanDuel where he is extremely cheap. Boyd is averaging 9.8 targets per game this season, and has double-digit targets in four of the six weeks. Jacksonville's middle of the road pass defense is one to target, especially now that they got the Jalen Ramsey trade out of the way.

Tight End

Evan Engram - FD: $6,800 / DK: $6,500 - Tight ends against the Cardinals are going to be chalk plays, but alongside the top matchup of the weekend, Evan Engram is just a strong play regardless. He is averaging the most targets per game among tight ends this season (9.6), and Daniel Jones under center certainly opens the door compared to Eli Manning. The matchup is a positive one, as tight ends are averaging 1.2 touchdowns per game against Arizona, and 99.8 receiving yards.

Defense

Buffalo Bills - FD: $5,500 / DK: $4,300 - Both Buffalo and San Francisco are easy pay up options at defense this week, and for obvious reasons. They play Miami and Washington. I also don't mind a slight pay down to the Saints, who have been dominant since Drew Brees went down with an injury. Buffalo and San Francisco are both the cash game locks for me this week. Buffalo is coming off a bye week, and at home. I slightly prefer them, but not by much.
